Lisa Smith, from Huyton, England, captured the daily spectacle while staying at the Aparthotel Dorada Palace in Salou, Spain.
According to Lisa, the bizarre scenes had become the highlight of her family's holiday as guests rushed to claim loungers every morning, with the chaos seemingly getting worse each day.
In the footage, dozens of tourists can be seen running through the pool area the moment access is allowed, racing to reserve the best sunbeds before anyone else can get to them.
Lisa said the hotel continued to allow the practice despite the daily scramble, leaving many guests baffled by the situation.
