00:04Christina Cooper, the song.
00:10Does he know it's me?
00:14Okay, what do you want?
00:16I want you to drop out of the student competition.
00:19Your spot to Camilla.
00:20So he's here for Camilla.
00:23And why would I do that?
00:24I won that spot there in Square.
00:27Because I said so.
00:30And why would I listen to you?
00:31You don't know anything about me.
00:33Before dumping milk on my head yesterday, you never spoke a word to me.
00:37So why would I be at your beck and call?
00:39Don't piss me off.
00:41Do what I say and all of this goes away.
00:43Oh look, a big bad bully threatening girls to get what he wants.
00:58What is wrong with you?
01:00That is my only pair of headphones.
01:02Do you think that was a threat?
01:07Yes.
01:09This is a threat.
01:15Do it then.
01:19Are you fucking crazy?
01:20What the hell is wrong with you?
01:27You know, the jugular vein is two centimeters under your skin.
01:30You could have fucking died.
01:33Yes, baby.
01:33I promise.
01:36And what would you care?
01:42You're right.
01:44I don't give a fuck about you.
01:46But I did promise to echo.
01:48You broke your promise.
01:55Think about what I said.
01:57If you're smart, you'll make the right choice.
02:20You broke your first promise, dummy.
02:24You'll get two chances.
02:26Jason, if only you knew I was the girl that you were looking for.
02:36Hey man, is everything okay?
02:38You've been off.
02:39Like, really off.
02:41Yeah, I'm okay.
02:42I'm fine.
02:44Do it then.
02:45Why do I care so much if she's hurt or not?
02:49Christina's a nobody.
02:51Hey, Dexter, baby.
02:53Did you talk to Christina yet?
02:54Is the bitch going to drop out or what?
02:56Don't call me baby.
02:58Yeah, I talked to her.
02:59She said no.
03:00Look, I don't want to deal with this shit anymore.
03:01So just leave it.
03:04I bet you promised my brother you'd take care of me.
03:07The singing competition is really important to me.
03:09I told him I'd protect you, not be your nanny.
03:12Look, I mean, what am I supposed to do if you don't graduate high school?
03:15Beat up the principal?
03:17No.
03:17You're right.
03:18I...
03:19I can handle it myself.
03:21So, did you find out who Echo is yet?
03:25No.
03:27So he still doesn't know Christina is Echo?
03:29I have to drive him apart before he finds out.
03:32Protect me, huh?
03:34So all I have to do is make him protect me in front of Christina.
03:53Baby, you want to hop on the game?
03:56I miss you, baby.
04:05Can't tell me.
04:07My headphones broke.
04:16Are you Christina?
04:27Oh, come out, little demons.
04:29Wherever you are.
04:32There wasn't time I feared the silence.
04:38In shadows whispered to my soul.
04:48Gotcha.
05:02Shit.
05:12Right on time.
05:14Dex, how did you get here?
05:15Voice gives me powers.
05:17Every note you sing makes me stronger.
05:20That's how I got here.
05:22Oh, watch out.
05:26I hate music.
05:28Destroy them all.
05:30Echo.
05:30Ryan.
05:31Echo.
05:32I'm still in that corruption.
05:34Echo.
05:35Thank you for that.
05:39And if you die, you'll lose all your XB, okay?
05:4780%.
05:48No way.
05:49I'm not letting that thing take your voice.
05:5290%.
05:52Sing from the Echo.
05:5795%.
05:5897%.
06:08You saved me.
06:10Let's do the thing.
06:31What are you doing?
06:32What are you doing?
06:43I almost lost your voice back there.
06:46Title 1 terrifies me.
06:48I think I...
06:49I...
06:50I...
06:53I'd love to meet you in person.
07:03Dax and I met in the video game, Songster, by the worker.
07:11It's a game that uses singing to kill demons and monsters.
07:16We've grown close.
07:17Captain Chad, you on the phone, told him at night.
07:19But we've never seen each other's faces.
07:22I mean, I never even told him my real name.
07:25He's just always called me...
07:27Echo.
07:28And now he wants to meet you.
07:30Echo.
07:51Hello?
07:52Hey.
07:53Are you all right?
07:54You went AFK in the game.
07:55Oh, um.
07:56Yeah, everything's fine.
07:58Um, let's talk in the game.
07:59Are you in our favorite spot?
08:01Alright, I'll see you in two.
08:06Do I like Dax?
08:08Of course I do.
08:09I'm just scared.
08:11In the game, I'm Echo, one of the top players.
08:14But at school, I'm just a nobody.
08:18No.
08:20Christina?
08:21You got this.
08:23You got this.
08:25Okay.
08:29Oh, hey.
08:34Echo, ever since I found out that you go to my school,
08:38I got to meet you in person.
08:41It's literally driving me crazy.
08:43I genuinely never thought that I would fall in love with someone online,
08:48but every second I spend with you, I know it more.
08:52Do you feel the same way?
08:56Yeah.
08:57Wait, really?
08:59Oh, my God.
09:10But I'm kind of scared.
09:11Like, what if you think I'm ugly or you're disappointed when you meet me?
09:14Oh, no.
09:15I would never think that you're ugly.
09:17God, I think you're the most beautiful person in the world, inside and out.
09:20You know, last year, I was in a pretty dark spot.
09:24And it was your voice.
09:26You were singing.
09:27That's what fixed me.
09:28And all the late-night calls and, you know, being on the game.
09:32I mean, I've never been happier.
09:35God, I feel the same way.
09:37Like, you're the highlight of my year.
09:53God.
09:55I wish I could hold you like this in real life.
09:57I wish I could heal you in real life.
10:00I wish you were my girlfriend in real life.
10:02Really?
10:03You want me to be your girlfriend?
10:05Yes.
10:07W-would you?
10:22Yes.
10:23I asked a million times.
10:25Yes.
10:26Oh my God!
10:37Are you sure you came to me earlier today?
10:39I want to see you so bad.
10:41Well, I'm here for like five minutes to sign my forms for the financial aid program, but
10:46I don't want to tell Dax that.
10:48Sorry, babe.
10:50I won't be in school in South George.
10:52Doctor appointment.
10:54Okay.
10:542.30 to 7.
10:55Can't wait.
11:03Oh, Christina's representing a legion for the statewide singing competition.
11:07I really thought it was going to be Camilla.
11:10Dexter, Christina stole my spot.
11:12Oh, you know, I'll bet you anything.
11:14It's because she slept with a music teacher.
11:18Hello?
11:19Are you even listening?
11:20Dexter.
11:21Camilla Hill, the girl who's been bullying me since freshman year.
11:25And her boyfriend, Dexter Blackheart.
11:28The worst two people in this entire school.
11:31I may be a nobody, but I'm not a pushover.
11:34Really, Camilla?
11:35Spreading rumors that I'm sleeping with Mr. Bennett?
11:38It's disgusting.
11:39That voice.
11:40She sounds almost like Echo.
11:43She can't be Echo.
11:44She isn't coming until after lunch.
11:47I won the spot, Darren Square.
11:50So if you'd like a rematch, Camilla, I'd be happy to meet you again.
11:58Dexter, do something.
12:00You should go there and talk to me like that?
12:04I don't need you to apologize to Camilla.
12:07Apologize to her?
12:08Why would I do that?
12:09She's the one in the wrong.
12:11What did you just say?
12:14Do you know who I am?
12:16Of course I know who you are.
12:17You're a thug and a bully.
12:20But I'm not scared of you, Dexter Blackheart.
12:22Oh, so you do know who I am.
12:26And you know what I'm capable of.
12:46You know, you're looking at me in a good mood today.
12:48But consider this your first and last one.
12:50If you disrespect Camilla in front of me again,
12:53you're over.
12:57All right, Camilla, let's go.
13:14Hey, guys, can you talk for just like five minutes?
13:17Yeah, absolutely.
13:18What's wrong?
13:39Is Dexter actually Dexter Blackwood?
13:43My foolish boyfriend?
13:46Hey, baby, you still there?
13:52Echo?
13:54This stupid Echo again.
13:56Dexter is completely obsessed with some random ho he met online.
14:01Call me back when you can, okay?
14:03No.
14:05This can't be real.
14:13Like, there's no way Dax is Dexter Blackwood.
14:17There's no way my gentle Dax is in a gang.
14:20Or dating Camilla Hill.
14:23It was probably just a coincidence.
14:25Right?
14:29An emergency can work.
14:31I will be able to meet today.
14:33Is everything okay, baby?
14:37Yeah, I hope so.
14:39Let's talk in the game later.
14:45Dexter!
14:46There you are.
14:48Stop, Camilla.
14:49Stop fucking doing that.
14:51Look, I told you I got a girlfriend now.
14:53And I know you've been standing around fucking talking to people saying that you're my girlfriend.
14:57That ends today.
15:00Girlfriend?
15:01You don't even know her.
15:02He knows her username is Echo.
15:05And he met her in Song Slave.
15:07He is oh so in love with her.
15:12Dexter, I should be your girlfriend.
15:15Not some rando you met on a video game.
15:17Listen, Camilla, your brother took a bullet from me, so I swore to protect you.
15:22But that's it.
15:23There will never be anything more between us.
15:26And second, Echo isn't some rando.
15:28She's the girl who pulled me out of the darkness.
15:30So she's my everything.
15:32You got that?
15:39I have to get rid of this Echo.
15:42Whoever she is.
15:44Then, Dexter will be mine.
15:52Wish you were my girlfriend in real life.
15:54You're over.
15:55And shadows whispered through my soul.
16:03Echo.
16:06Echo.
16:17Hey, what happened today?
16:19Is everything okay?
16:21He's so kind.
16:23So genuine.
16:25How can he be Dexter Blackwood?
16:28Was everything just a lie?
16:30You know you can tell me anything, baby.
16:36Dex, have you ever been bullied before?
16:39Is someone bullying you at school?
16:41Just tell me who it is and I'll fucking kick their ass.
16:44What if it's you?
16:47And worse.
16:48You and your girlfriend.
16:51No, it's a hypothetical question.
16:53You already know the answer.
16:56Nobody would dare to bully you.
16:58Because you're the Dexter Blackwood.
17:03How do you know that?
17:06So it really is him.
17:11Echo is the best.
17:13Love watching her play and hearing her sing.
17:15Damn, Echo, she slayed.
17:17All points plus 100,000.
17:20I know that song.
17:22I know that voice.
17:24Christina sang that exact song and beat me for the singing competition.
17:33Echo is Christina?
17:37It doesn't matter how I know you're Dexter Blackwood.
17:40What matters is why did you ask me to be your girlfriend if you're dating Camilla?
17:44Okay, wait.
17:44Hold on.
17:45No, no, no.
17:46This is a misunderstanding.
17:47I am not dating Camilla.
17:50Wait.
17:51Is this why you didn't want to meet up with me today?
17:55Baby, I promise.
17:56It's nothing like that.
17:57You gotta trust me on this.
18:03Okay, look.
18:05Remember a year ago?
18:06When I joined the gang?
18:08Because I was suicidal?
18:11I had survivor's guilt?
18:14Yeah.
18:16When your best friend died protecting you.
18:18Well, that was Camilla's brother.
18:21We got into an altercation with some bad people.
18:26And he took a bullet from me.
18:30But I promise there's nothing going on between us.
18:32In fact, actually, I talked to her today.
18:34I told her to drop all the shit about her spreading rumors about me being her boyfriend.
18:38I promise she'll always be like a little sister to me.
18:48I swear on my life.
18:49I promise if I'm lying.
18:51I get hit by a truck and...
18:53Don't say that.
18:56Is that Juju?
18:59Does that mean you forgive me?
19:01Did I meet you in person?
19:05Three days.
19:06I'll give you three days to prove to me that you're a good person.
19:10To prove to me that I can trust you.
19:12To prove to me that you're not a cheater.
19:14And then I'll meet you.
19:16Okay, but I don't even know who you are.
19:19Yeah, that's the whole point.
19:21Okay, I'll be watching you.
19:24And Dax?
19:25I'm not gonna date a cheater.
19:27A bully.
19:29Somebody who's in a gang.
19:30And if you are any of those things, we cannot be together.
19:35Okay, can you promise me those three things?
19:38Yes.
19:39Yes, baby, I promise.
19:41Look, I'm not cheating with Camilla.
19:43I'm not gonna bully anyone.
19:44And I promise, ever since Adam died, I've been trying to leave the Black Vipers.
19:56Please, don't leave me, Echo.
20:05Don't break my heart, Dax.
20:25Hey, is it really you?
20:27Is the great and almighty Echo calling me?
20:31You miss me?
20:32Yeah, of course I miss you.
20:33You're my best friend.
20:35Wish I was more than that.
20:38So, uh, what can I do for you, superstar?
20:42Hey, look, um, is your offer to help me transfer to the New York Music Academy still good?
20:48Wait, you wanna come?
20:49Dude, they would die to have you.
20:51You're the most talented singer I've ever heard.
20:54Okay, don't flatter me.
20:55No, I crossed my heart.
20:57Seriously, though, what made you change your mind?
21:01Uh, well, it's still up in the air.
21:04But, um, I'm starting to think that there's nothing left for me here.
21:09Look, just give me three days.
21:10I'll have my final decision to you in three days.
21:12Okay, call me.
21:16I can get you anytime.
21:18Thanks.
21:27Come on, Dax.
21:30Three days.
21:32Three promises.
21:35Just let me see the real you.
21:39Who is that?
21:41He is so hot.
21:43Let his pretty face fool you.
21:45That's Dexter Blackwood, the most notorious Black Viper gang member in our school.
21:51Echo.
21:52Everywhere I look.
21:53I think it's you.
22:02Could it be her?
22:05She's so normal.
22:08Nah, it is impossible.
22:12Christina, I heard from my good friend at New York Music Academy you're considering a transfer.
22:17Does that mean you won't be representing Alicia in the statewide singing competition?
22:21Well, I haven't decided yet, but if I do, I'm still going to compete.
22:26Well, even though I'd be very sad to see you go, I do think with your talent, New York is
22:30better for you than here.
22:31Thanks, Mr. Bennett.
23:04Christina Cooper, the song.
23:10Does he know it's me?
23:15Okay, what do you want?
23:16I want you to drop out of the singing competition.
23:19Respond to Camila.
23:20So he's here for Camila.
23:23And why would I do that?
23:24I won that spot fair and square.
23:27Because I said so.
23:29And why would I listen to you?
23:31You don't know anything about me.
23:33Before dumping milk on my head yesterday, you never spoke a word to me.
23:37So why would I be at your beck and call?
23:39Don't piss me off.
23:41Do what I say, and all of this goes away.
23:43Oh, look.
23:44A big, bad bully threatening girls to get what he wants.
23:56What is wrong with you?
23:57That is my only pair of headphones.
23:59Do you think that was a threat?
24:05This, this is a threat.
24:12Do it then.
24:16Are you fucking crazy?
24:17What the hell is wrong with you?
24:24You know, the jugular vein is two centimeters under your skin.
24:27You could have fucking died.
24:30Yes, baby, I promise.
24:33And would you care?
24:39You're right.
24:41I don't give a fuck about you.
24:42But I did promise to echo.
24:45You broke your promise.
24:52Think about what I said.
24:54If you're smart, you'll make the right choice.
25:08I think I need it.
25:18You broke your first promise to me.
25:22I'm going to get two chances.
25:25God, if only you knew I was the girl that you were looking for.
25:33Hey, man.
25:34Is everything okay?
25:35You've been off.
25:36Like, really off.
25:38Yeah, no, I'm okay.
25:39I'm fine.
25:41Do it then.
25:43Why do I care so much if she's hurt or not?
25:46Christina's a nobody.
25:48Hey, Dexter, baby.
25:50Did you talk to Christina yet?
25:51Is the bitch going to drop out or what?
25:53Don't call me baby.
25:55Yeah, I talked to her.
25:56She said no.
25:57Look, I don't want to deal with this shit anymore.
25:58So just leave it.
26:01But you promised my brother you'd take care of me.
26:04The singing competition is really important to me.
26:06I told him I'd protect you, not be your nanny.
26:09Look, I mean, what am I supposed to do if you don't graduate high school?
26:12Beat up the principal?
26:14No.
26:15You're right.
26:15I...
26:16I can handle it myself.
26:18So, did you find out who Echo is yet?
26:24So he still doesn't know Christina is Echo?
26:27I have to drive him apart before he finds out.
26:29Protect me, huh?
26:31So all I have to do is make him protect me and find Christina.
26:50Hey, baby, you want to hop on the game?
26:53I miss you, baby.
27:01Kante, my headphones broke.
27:06Hmm?
27:13Are you Christina?
27:24I miss you, baby.
