00:08game to Pirates win it in extra innings. If you can believe that three to I had to suffer through
00:15watching Arizona go two for 14 with runners in scoring position in that game last night.
00:22But Brandon Fott going for Arizona here tonight, who's made huge strides since he took a little vacation to the
00:29minors to work on some mechanics. And he's been good. I mean, he's been really good. Five starts since what,
00:37June 30th, 2.33 ERA. 14 strikeouts. Not as many strikeouts as you would like to see, but he's also
00:46not walking anybody.
00:48I kind of feel like against Bubba Chandler, I kind of feel like this is the bounce back spot for
00:53Arizona here. You?
00:55I agree with that. And, you know, this is just really as simple as sometimes saying like the law of
01:00averages are going to bounce in the Diamondbacks favor.
01:03And when you look at Bubba Chandler, you know, there's a lot of hype, you know, as he was once
01:08a top prospect.
01:09He can certainly get the strikeouts going, but the walks have generally been an issue for him.
01:13And Brandon Fott has been on a rollercoaster ride this season, to your point.
01:17He missed some time. He's sent down. He comes back up. He's been all over the place.
01:21But in reality, it's more that the Pirates offense is just not at a spot that I'm really willing to
01:27trust them,
01:27even against what I think is an average to slightly below average pitching staff overall with the Diamondbacks, if we
01:34include their bullpen.
01:35And frankly, the Diamondbacks are a good enough team that they won't lose four or not four in a row
01:40or whatever they are at this point.
01:41I think they can come away with this game and you're getting good price on it.
01:45Yeah, I mean, listen, Bubba Chandler is another guy, too, that had a rocky June, seemed to figure some things
01:51out in July.
01:53We thought we talked yesterday about these two teams that maybe the offenses, you know, were really going to be
01:59the story in this series.
02:00And, yeah, no, that just did not work out yesterday.
02:05Maybe we get a few more runs here, but both bullpens were lights out last night.
02:10And you and I both know both these bullpens, no, absolutely not.
02:17Feels like an over could be coming our way once again here tonight in this game here, Tom.
