00:03Songs of the Past, during Gamescom 2026, CD Projekt Red has confirmed.
00:08Not only will Songs of the Past be showcased to the public for anyone actually attending
00:13Gamescom in Cologne, Germany next month in the form of a guided presentation,
00:17but Geoff Keighley's big opening night livestream on August 25th will see
00:21new information about the expansion revealed, a press release confirms.
00:25Let's face it, it wouldn't take much to provide us with any new information.
00:30All we really know about it is that it sounds like it'll be pretty substantial.
00:35The Witcher 1 remake studio, Fool's Theory, is working alongside CDPR on it,
00:40and it'll be out next year. We've not actually seen any footage yet,
00:45just a nice new image of Geralt, so any glimpse here would be welcome.
00:50With Songs of the Past's launch set for 2027, I'd be surprised if we saw an exact release
00:55date at Gamescom unless it's planned to arrive early in the year.
00:59Regardless though, it'll be very exciting to have a proper look at it. Mark those calendars.
