00:00So anybody who lives or works in the city will have noticed over a number of years an increasing number
00:06of visitors.
00:07So looking at 2024 when we had statistics, there were 5 million overnight stays. 5 million.
00:18Now that's fantastic and as you can see from all the people around us today, that brings a lot of
00:25business into the city and it's really good.
00:27However, it costs money because of course we need to maintain and upkeep the city to the standard that international
00:37visitors expect.
00:39In essence the money that's coming in has to be by law to enhance the tourist experience but of course
00:47in doing so we're going to make life better for people who live and work in the city.
00:54So essentially it's both.
