00:02A self-defense system designed to help you escape any situation alive.
00:07Krav Maga requires enormous physical and mental precision.
00:11Skill, power, and cunning combine to round out this elite martial art.
00:16Let's see what it takes to be a badass with the most elite self-defense system.
00:26But what exactly is Krav Maga?
00:28Krav Maga, it's a hand-to-hand combat system.
00:31And it was designed mainly for the military of Israel.
00:35We focus on the weak spots of the body.
00:37The eyes, the nose, the chin, the throat.
00:40It's very brutal. I mean, it's about making damage as quick as possible.
00:46So right now what we're going to do is we're going to work on the punches in the Krav Maga
00:50combos.
00:51Palms come up. Good.
00:53Palms go forward, chin is down.
00:55Your left is going to go into the target of the center towards their face, their nose.
00:59Your left heel comes up to pivot.
01:01And then you're going to switch arms and lean to the left and function your right.
01:07Do a lot of women do Krav Maga?
01:09We have here, at least, we have 60% women.
01:12Oh, that's awesome.
01:13Yeah, that train with us.
01:14It's going to be different in your body.
01:16It's going to get harder.
01:18Krav Maga is a survival system that women could actually stand toe-to-toe with a guy.
01:23Right.
01:23And actually, and it will be fair.
01:29Allyson, I'm going to show you right now scenarios where a guy tries to grab you by your wrist, below
01:36or above.
01:37Let go.
01:40Ready.
01:41Yeah.
01:42The Krav Maga training in general is an amazing workout.
01:44Yeah, it's a very physical activity.
01:47You're punching with your upper body.
01:49You're doing, you're throwing elbows, you're throwing kicks and knees.
01:52And then when you're done and you're, you know, you squeeze every little juice in your body, we go another
01:5830 minutes.
01:58Ready?
01:59Yeah.
02:03Grab the wrist with your left.
02:04Mm-hmm.
02:06Bring that right hand, make a bicep muscle like that.
02:10Hit the groin.
02:12Break out, face in, and punch the face.
02:16Nice.
02:16You got it pretty quickly.
02:17All right.
02:17Try it again on your own.
02:24I think Krav Maga is so important specifically to women just so they could feel armed in any scenario, in
02:30a bar, on the street.
02:31It felt absolutely exhilarating to sort of role play and to react in a way that I can defend myself
02:38if it does happen.
