00:03Hi, I'm Connie. Today we're going to be doing marbled nails. This is a pretty
00:08tricky nail art design. It's a lot of work. It's really complicated. It can get
00:13really, really messy, but the outcome is that you have really outrageous, rad, rad
00:17nails that people are going to be super jealous of. The ingredient list is a
00:21little bit intense, so we're going to go slowly. First of all, you need your nail
00:25polishes. You want to pick ones that are a little bit different, like what I'm
00:31doing, like a pink, a lime green, and yellow. The second thing you need is a cup
00:38of water. You're going to ruin the cup that you're using, so I suggest using a
00:41plastic cup. The water that you use needs to be room temperature, just because the
00:46nail polish will flow a little bit better in the water. The next thing you need is
00:52a pokey stick. I've used a plastic knife, but you can use anything. And then you
00:58need a white nail polish. And the last thing you need is some scotch tape. You've got to
01:04paint your nails first. Paint them white so the marbleized effect shows up a lot
01:09better. I'm going to show you how to tape up your finger. Take one piece of scotch
01:14tape and tape the very bottom of your finger. Take the other piece of tape and
01:20make a little bonnet for your nail.
01:24So what you're going to do is put in drops of nail polish into the water, one drop at a
01:32time.
01:35You're going to feel like a kid in science class. It's really cool looking.
01:41Then you take your pokey stick, and there's a couple of different things you can do.
01:45But one is you go from the center out, or from the outside in, and just make cuts with it.
02:00So you want to dip your finger nail side down into the area that you think is the most concentrated
02:05with excitement and cool colors. So when you dip, push all the way down. And then stick your finger
02:15into the water. Now you're going to want to scoop up the rest of the nail polish that's just floating
02:23on top of the water with your pokey stick. So that's what your finger looks like afterwards.
02:28So, it's a marble nail. Goodbye!
