Wonder Woman-style bracelets, bought in pairs and worn one on each wrist, are one of our favorite ways to make our jewelry game look unexpectedly on point. In metallics, fabrics, woods, and beads, these cuffs really caught our eye each and every time we stopped by the jewelry racks (virtual or otherwise)...but when we saw Céline's version in leather? Hooboy, we were in love. So, our intrepid DIY whiz, Chloe Daley, was convinced she could whip up a Céline-inspired pair — made on the cheap. Watch the video to see her iteration now!

00:00It's it!
00:04Hi, I'm Chloe with Refinery29, and today on iDIY, we're going to be doing our own take
00:10on the leather bracelets from the Celine Summer 2013 collection, so let's get started.
00:15What you'll need is a faux piece of leather, a tape measure, fabric glue, magnetic clasps,
00:22a pen, a needle and thread, and scissors.
00:25You'll want to go ahead and cut out your piece of leather.
00:27So, I'm going to go ahead and do 7 inches wide and 20 inches long, and I'm just going
00:32to mark it, and then I'm going to go ahead and cut it out.
00:36And I'm using an old skirt from H&M.
00:38It's a great way to reuse an old piece.
00:41And then I'm just going to cut the ends off with the seam of the skirt so that it's a
00:46nice
00:46clean piece.
00:47So now I have my piece of leather cut out, and I'm going to go ahead and turn it over
00:51on its
00:51backside, and I'm going to fold it about four times.
00:57And then I'm going to take my fabric glue, and I'm going to be gluing the ends just to
01:01secure it.
01:02And then once you put the glue on, you want to make sure you put something heavy on it
01:05to let it sit for a little while and get very secure.
01:07Now you'll want to go ahead and take your piece and tie a basic knot.
01:11Put it on your wrist and make sure there's a lot of slack because we're going to be cutting
01:15the bottom part.
01:17And then I'm going to pull the end closest to me over and tuck it under.
01:22Then take the remaining end, and I'm going to bend it backwards underneath like so.
01:28And we're going to be sewing this flap to the back of this one.
01:33So now that the knot is tied and secured, I'm going to go ahead and take my scissors and kind
01:40of measure where the back is, the middle, and just go ahead and snip it right there.
01:45Now I'm going to go ahead and take my magnets, place them on the ends, and I'm going to pull
01:50it in a little bit so I'll have room to flip the end over and sew it so it has
01:56a clean edge.
01:57And then just start sewing the magnet on.
01:59The one I have has a few holes in the sides, so I'm going to sew it on that way.
02:03Now that I have both magnetic snaps on here, I'm going to go ahead and take the one that's
02:08going to be on the top and sew the flap down on the corners.
02:12And then once you've gone ahead and sewn the edges down, just go ahead and clasp it.
02:16And now we have a great affordable version of the Celine bracelet that will go with anything.
