00:00Mets are 42 and 59. And I think over the next two plus weeks, they might trade more players
00:09than anyone else. And the question is, how deep do they dig? And John, I'll just set it up and
00:15when I'm done, you just tick them off and tell me if you think they'll go. I think obviously
00:20Minter Raley and as bad as he's pitching Peralta, because they're all in their walk year, go. I
00:26think Tyrone Taylor, somebody's interested in also in his walk year. He's a good extra outfielder
00:31who's actually hit a little bit this year. He goes. So those are the obvious ones because
00:36they're all walk year guys. And I think Holmes goes because I think even though there's always
00:43talk about, can they extend them? It's Steve Cohen. Have your cake and eat it too. Trade
00:49them and then sign them back and do it both ways because he's obviously going to opt out
00:54at the end of the year. So I think it's that. So then do you agree with me on those
00:58five?
00:58I do. Could they potentially keep Holmes and give him the qualifying offer? You know, I
01:05and then maybe that leads to an extension at that point. I do think he provided he looks pretty good
01:12in the rehab. He probably is traded. I personally think they should trade the guys who, you know,
01:19have years to go as well because they're more helpful to a contending team. Isn't Luke Weaver
01:24more valuable? Weaver and Brazoban are the, with the next. Now Brazoban has a few years to go, but
01:30yeah, Weaver has one more year to go. So he's got one important year with the Mets plus this year.
01:35And if he's traded, he's got two years with another team. They should be able to figure out
01:39a place to trade Weaver. And I think that's true of Holmes as well.
