00:08then please don't run for our nomination. You know, and he didn't mention you by name. He
00:13didn't mention any of these candidates. But it seems like a pretty pointed critique of,
00:18like you say, of those of spending that political capital. How do you how do you respond to that?
00:23Or I guess, how did how does that make you feel when those kind of former party leaders take that
00:27stance? I think usually if someone says, this is not of any ill will or animosity, what they're
00:32about to say is characterized by ill will or animosity. It's a version of no offense. But
00:39look, I think the question that I come back to is what is the Democratic Party, if not its voters?
00:44And if you look at what Democrats are voting for in New York 13, in New York 7, in New
00:52York 10,
00:54and you say that that is not representative of the party, it may not be representative of what
00:58has effectively become our party, which is something that's run by well paid consultants
01:03and big money interests. But it is representative of what Democrats themselves want to see.
01:08And it's representative of the fact that in this country, there is just one majority,
01:11and that's of the working class. And that's not just true in this city. It's not just true in
01:15another city. It's true across the entirety of our nation. And people want to see a party that
01:20understands that and fights for that.
