00:07start running workloads, Bloomberg's reporting.
00:09The Verirubin rollout has been under scrutiny by both investors and analysts.
00:14For more, Bloomberg's Ian King joins us fresh off a trip to Inverio HQ in Santa Clara.
00:19And you've been speaking to one of the key leaders there about the actual state of play.
00:24Yeah.
00:25What is it?
00:25Ian Book, who's basically the head of their data center business, dragged us all into Jensen's office and we all
00:32got a walkthrough of where they are, basically.
00:36And really what they were keen to do was to kind of slay the dragon, this kind of lingering myth
00:42that there is somehow a problem with the rollout.
00:45They said, you know, we're going to go faster.
00:47Everything's working.
00:48They even took us to a secret location and showed us a rack of servers that's already actually in use,
00:54up and running.
00:54Ah, a rack of servers.

01:03Obviously, this is not life-sized.
01:07It wouldn't fit on set with you and I.
01:10There was the key takeaway from the real version of this that it's in full production.
01:15You know, that, I think Jensen's been quizzed about that quite a lot recently,
01:19but that is pretty definitive answer to what the market's been questioning.
01:23Right, there was a report out there saying that they had some actual materials issues, that it wouldn't be ready.
01:29And what they did was say, look, here it is.
01:33Guess what?
01:33What used to take hours for a human to put together and a human who would make mistakes,
01:38now we've designed it so it can be put together by a robot.
01:41Great pictures, by the way, that you took on your trip down to NVIDIA HQ.
01:45Yeah, with the iPhone.
01:47And they said, look, when we drop one of these things off at the dock at a data center in
01:51the past,
01:52you know, it would take a long time to get it up and running.
01:54Now we're talking tens of minutes to have it from the loading dock to being up and running.
01:59So really what they're pushing the idea is we're going faster to try and catch us.
02:02A big part in the moment of the rebound in chip stocks is Intel's having a pretty good day.
02:07And as an aside to that, we got a statement from the company about them right-sizing, streamlining one of
02:14its divisions.
02:14What do we need to know?
02:15Yeah, I mean, they've already, you know, got rid of multiple tens of thousands of employees
02:21and reduced their cost count appreciably.
02:24And that looks like it's something which is going to continue.
02:26They've said that their data center group is going to be dealing with some more redundancies to get those costs
02:33down
02:33and get that company into the kind of lean position it feels it needs to be in.
