00:00The new firework freeze from 5-Hour Energy really makes me think about summer.
00:04And you know what I love about summer, Chuck?
00:06What?
00:06Freedom.
00:09Yeah, me too. Freedom from pants.
00:11Jesus, Chuck, put some pants on.
00:13What? It's summer.
00:19Warning. Dave and Chuck the Freak are going dark-sided.
00:23Everything's ungodly. Dark-sided.
00:28I know this is dark.
00:30Okay.
00:31But I would love to do a show with dead people where we could ask them.
00:39What?
00:42What's the stupid way you died?
00:45Like, do you totally regret?
00:47No.
00:48You know what I mean?
00:49Even Vader hates this idea.
00:51Yeah.
00:51So, like, after they're dead, you ask, like, what were you thinking, sort of?
00:54Yeah.
00:55Why'd you do that?
00:56Do you regret that?
00:57Of course they regret that.
00:58They're dead.
01:02Well, a lot of times, it's not, like, your fault, you know?
01:05Like, you're thinking about...
01:07Yeah, but a lot of times it is.
01:07Okay.
01:08You do something stupid.
01:09Yeah.
01:10You put a screwdriver in a socket to try and fix it, and the next thing you know, you know...
01:14Don't you think it could happen to anyone?
01:16You'd die of something stupid.
01:18Sure.
01:19Yeah.
01:19Yeah.
01:20No, like, listen.
01:22Like, I just was watching this tornado thing with Stella last night, and there was a part
01:27where these people went into, like, a yogurt shop, and they were like, we gotta take cover!
01:32And two of the people were like, I'm not dying in a yogurt shop!
01:35And they left.
01:37They're like, I'm not dying in a yogurt shop!
01:40That sounds so stupid!
01:41And they got out of there.
01:43I don't know if they died or not.
01:44Did they say that?
01:45Yeah, they did.
01:46That's hilarious.
01:47To the employees.
01:48Because it was a flamboyant man was trying to save everybody.
01:52He was like, oh my god!
01:53What?
01:53It's just that there's a tornado!
01:56What's happening?
01:56There's a tornado!
01:57It's coming!
01:58Everyone's gotta take cover!
02:00I know what you're talking about, Chuck.
02:01Those definitely weren't the smartest folks, though.
02:03Oh, well, no.
02:05No.
02:05But that would be something you would think about.
02:07Like, I don't want to die in a yogurt shop, you know?
02:10Yes!
02:11But that's the thing!
02:11But then you die outside, and you're like, that was stupid.
02:13I should have just stayed in the yogurt shop.
02:14And they're the first callers for the death show.
02:16Yeah.
02:16Well, that's true, but at the same time...
02:19I had that thought in...
02:20The rental car place.
02:21At the rental car place in New Orleans, I was like,
02:23here comes...
02:24I'm gonna die in a budget rental car garage.
02:26And that's what these people were like, no.
02:29We're dying on our own two feet outside.
02:33We're taking on an F5 tornado on foot.
02:37Well, it's strange that this is National Mango Day.
02:42I have mango!
02:44Whoa!
02:46She's excited!
02:47What's going on?
02:47Do you have mango here?
02:48She killed us all the time!
02:49What is going on?
02:50I brought mango!
02:51That's just pure coincidence, please!
02:53I have mango!
02:55I have never seen her that excited in the history of the show.
02:58Oh my god, she...
02:59That's the most excited she's been on this show.
03:02Yeah, on this show.
03:04It's like someone just gave her a new car.
03:06In a long time.
03:07That is, we just saw her, like, Price is Right reaction.
03:11I am mango!
03:14It's like she got to play Plinko or something.
03:16That is an amazing reaction.
03:18I don't know.
03:19I don't know.
03:19What is...
03:19How is all this tying together, though?
03:21I know, okay.
03:21Okay, all right.
03:22Okay, am I in trouble?
03:23Yes!
03:24No!
03:24I shouldn't eat mangoes?
03:25No, you're fine.
03:26Okay.
03:26But one woman, the stupid way she died, was picking mangoes out of her tree.
03:32Climbed up.
03:33Yeah!
03:34Dead.
03:34Fall?
03:35Fall?
03:35Yeah.
03:35See?
03:36Yeah, see?
03:37You never know.
03:38Love mangoes delicious.
03:39From her mango tree.
03:40Yeah.
03:40I think the last thing she said was, I got mango!
03:43Oh!
03:44Oh!
03:45Yep.
03:48Yep.
03:49Somehow, those mangoes ended up in a store in Michigan.
03:53And Lisa bought them.
03:54And Lisa bought deadlady mangoes.
03:55Yeah.
03:55Here's the story from NBC6.
03:59I want to show you the tree police say this woman was climbing.
04:02We'll go ahead and zoom in for you, because we're down the street.
04:04The family, they want some privacy right now.
04:05But there is the tree.
04:07Earlier today, I talked with a man off camera.
04:10He says he's the woman's ex-husband.
04:11He just describes their mood and feeling right now as shocked.
04:15He says they're in shock.
04:16Where did she climb?
04:17There?
04:17The people who live in this neighborhood describe this woman as nice.
04:21Nice.
04:21I believe one time, maybe when I was younger, I believe she...
04:24People in the neighborhood describe her as nice.
04:29Pretty nice.
04:30Apparently, pretty good.
04:32I don't know.
04:32Nice.
04:32I believe one time, maybe when I was younger, I believe she had some extra mangoes.
04:37She dropped by, just delivered some to neighbors here and there.
04:40And that was very sweet of her.
04:41It's just a reminder that accidents do happen.
04:44So we're in the Grand Cay neighborhood off Miramar Parkway.
04:46Police say 56-year-old Lucretia Cardozo was climbing her mango tree and fell.
04:50Police believe a neighbor called 911 after finding her on the ground.
04:54Again, the family's inside the home, including police say the woman's teenage daughter.
04:59They do not want to speak.
05:01But the neighbors say this is a close-knit community.
05:04Several people described Cardozo, again, as a nice woman.
05:08And as you heard earlier, just a few moments ago, one man told me she would do things for her
05:13neighbors in the community.
05:16He also...
05:18She gave one guy a mango once.
05:20That's all they could figure out.
05:21Yeah, that's...
05:21Many of them have trees in their yards as well.
05:24That could have been me.
05:26I was up there on a ladder, leaned up against the tree.
05:28It really wasn't that stable.
05:29That could happen to anyone.
05:30You really have to be careful when you're doing something like that.
05:32Always make sure you're out there with someone.
05:34I was up there with my father, so even if something happened, we could have gotten a response on the
05:38scene quickly.
05:39Again, police describe what happened out here Monday as a tragedy.
05:4356-year-old Lucretia Cardozo.
05:47That's too high.
05:48Yeah, she had one of those.
05:50That ladder looked crazy.
05:52It looked precarious.
05:53That ladder...
05:54So, when I first got married, Patty had that ladder, I think.
05:58Extend a ladder, right?
05:59It's that extend a ladder.
06:00Like the guy on QVC fell from.
06:02The one that he fell from.
06:03That looks...
06:04No.
06:04We have one, too.
06:05They're not.
06:06I never use it.
06:07So, where is it leaning up again?
06:09How is it stable?
06:11It's way up, way up.
06:11She just has it up against a branch way up there.
06:13That's it?
06:14That's it.
06:15You can tell.
06:16It's just up against a branch.
06:18It's not...
06:18Hire someone to go get your mangoes.
06:21She looks like she has a nice house.
06:22She could afford it.
06:23How much are you going to pay somebody?
06:24Hey, can you go up and get my mangoes?
06:26They're delicious.
06:26I get it, but...
06:28You know how you live?
06:30Buying them from the grocery store.
06:31That's true.
06:31Yeah, that is true.
06:33That's what I did.
06:33The National Mango Day.
06:35I'm a mango!
06:35It is my favorite fruit.
06:37There is a time when mango trees are kind of near the ground, right?
06:41That's why people just walk over and grab people's...
06:43This is like a full-ass tree.
06:46Yeah.
06:46At some point, the mangoes are off-limits on that tree.
06:50You know what I mean?
06:51That's a dumb way to die.
06:53Mind you, if I didn't have a lot of money and I didn't mind climbing,
06:56I could see, like, offering my mango service.
07:00There's got to be someone out there, like a homeless guy that'll climb a tree
07:04and pull all your mangoes down, but he has to keep five of them.
07:06And that's fine.
07:07That's fine.
07:07That's fine.
07:08Fair, fair penalty.
07:10That's fine.
07:11That's fine.
