00:12Two massive maps, new powerful weapons and vehicles, new modes,
00:16and quality of life improvements to make Battlefield 6 and RADSEC even more immersive.
00:22Naval Warfare is a cornerstone of some of Battlefield's greatest moments
00:26and our teams across the globe have been putting in the work,
00:29using our learnings from past games and working with you in labs
00:33to make this the most explosive version of Naval Warfare yet.
00:38So buckle up, as today we're going to give you an extended look
00:41at what you can expect when Season 4 launches on July 21st,
00:45and the new tech that drives it.
00:47So let's start with maps.
00:49Our first map is Sulu Reef, and it goes live with the launch of the Season.
00:53We know many of our players want more scale in their experiences.
00:57Sulu Reef will be our biggest map in Battlefield 6 yet.
01:02That's right, even bigger than Railway to Golnet.
01:05It has everything, land armor and IFVs, boats, jets, helicopters,
01:11wide aerial spaces to accompany the vast oceanfront.
01:14This is all-out warfare at its finest.
01:18We can't wait for you to experience Sulu Reef.
01:25Later in the season, we'll be bringing back an old friend.
01:29Weck Island.
01:31Weck Island is a staple of the series,
01:34but we've worked hard to make this version fit Battlefield 6 scale and gameplay systems.
01:39We are reimagining the Battlefield 5 version of Weck Island.
01:43We wanted to bring forth all the elements that people love about Weck Island over the years,
01:48and update other aspects to make it play even better.
01:51Both teams' HQ will be presented as carriers on either side of the island to create more balance between teams,
01:58while a ship has been added to the center of the map to provide cover for naval vehicles engaged in
02:03combat.
02:04Weck Island arrives with Phase 2 on August 18th.
02:08We have a new gameplay feature this season that we're quite excited about.
02:13We're debuting the dynamic wave system.
02:16Both of Mavs this season, Sulu Reef and Wake Island are surrounded by the ocean,
02:20but also contain internal waterways.
02:23Ways within these places will react realistically to their environment.
02:26Ways within enclosed spaces will be calmer,
02:29allowing who's ever at the helm better handling at the expense of being easy targets.
02:34On the ocean waves will get royal, impacting a number of areas in combat.
02:39It's a double-edged sword for the player.
02:41Both captains will encounter reduced mobility,
02:44and those on board will find it more difficult to aim their weapons.
02:47However, these waves can also help mask your approach,
02:50letting you more easily infiltrate areas or ambush enemies.
02:54Ways will even occasionally deflect weapon fire, giving you a temporary shield.
03:00Making the jump from Red Sick,
03:02the RIB is a lightning-fast sea transport able to carry a full squad.
03:07This vehicle's agility and mounting machine gun
03:09make it perfect for storming beaches or flanking the enemy.
03:13The RCB-90 is a fast and flexible patrol boat built to own the coastline.
03:18Equipped with an arsenal of weapons,
03:20it can engage targets wherever they may be,
03:23land, air, and sea.
03:25And it also features a deployable ramp that your team can spawn on.
03:29Smart positioning and teamwork will help make the RCB-90 an invaluable tool for naval assaults.
03:35A new season of Battlefield 6 means all new weapons to wreck havoc with.
03:39The deadly ball-puppet assault rifle, the EF-88.
03:43A versatile weapon for those who want to storm the frontlines or fight from a distance.
03:47The Brand 3 Carbine is an absolutely lethal mid-range option
03:51that's perfect companion for fast-paced coastal combat.
03:54Meanwhile, the VSSM is a DMR with an integrated suppressor
03:57and the capability to go full auto with a flick of a button.
04:00And later in the season, we'll be debuting a new sniper rifle.
04:04The HDI is chambered in a heavy caliber and built for extreme long-range dominance.
04:09During Season 4, we'll also be adding some of your most requested features
04:14as well as a host of other improvements for the entirety of Battlefield 6 and Red Sec.
04:20Custom lobbies will be arriving during Season 4 to give you even more control over the kind of experiences you
04:26want to create.
04:27In Portal, creators will have the option of a pre-lobby screen that will allow players to sort themselves into
04:34teams and squads.
04:35These lobbies will also have admin controls and in-game lobby settings, letting you designate admins and spectators.
04:44Alongside custom lobbies, Spectator mode will also be dropping in Season 4 for private matches in both Battlefield 6 and
04:51Red Sec.
04:51With several options at your disposal, you will be able to enjoy witnessing the scale of Battlefield unfold from multiple
04:58perspectives.
04:59Two new maps built for land, air and sea combat at epic scale.
05:04New vehicles, new kick-ass weapons, new systems and feature overhauls.
05:10And finally, the arrival of our team-up with the world of Top Gun.
