00:03We're here at Milford Marina today working with the Port of Milford Haven, Blue Horizons and the
00:09National Parks to deliver a trip for year fours across Milford and the Pembroke Cluster and they
00:14have an introduction to the waterway of the Clevay River looking at the industries the wildlife and
00:19all that goes on here. So the children have had an amazing time we've heard this is the best day
00:28ever many times so many of our students that haven't been on boat trips before this is a new
00:32experience for many and they've had lots of fun they've developed their confidence and they've
00:37learned a little bit about the waterway. So we've been looking out for a range of wildlife we've seen
00:42seals we've seen a range of seabirds we're looking at the different industries we're looking at the
00:46ships and where they've come from and then we've been adding all of that to a map so the children
00:51can identify the different locations along the river. So this is part of the port's education
00:57programme so many of the children have never been on a boat before so yeah lovely experience to be
01:02able to take them out this morning.
01:09So this is a really unique experience for the students to get to know their local river their
01:14Carnaven and all that it offers so they've had a special experience today and it's really inspired
01:18many of the learners about the Clevay River. To be honest they've all been so so excited lots of happy
01:25smiley faces.
