00:51for the rigors of athletic competition in space.
00:54Let's go to our referee, Maura Quirk, for the rules of this new event, Zero-G.
00:58Hey, Mo, how you doing today?
00:59I am feeling pretty good today, Mike. How are you?
01:02Terrific.
01:03Good. Glad to hear it. Here are the rules.
01:05At the sound of my whistle, each player will race around the Zero-G track.
01:09Fastest time wins.
01:11On your mark, get set.
01:14All right, so Laura's up first. We'll see what Laura can do.
01:17Now, they do not start the clock until she goes over the starting line.
01:21She's got to really pick up some pace here.
01:23Right over the top. Good motion right there.
01:26Remember, folks, our players right here have to completely reorient
01:29their bodies to thinking into a position where they're running horizontally.
01:34They've got to stay horizontal, they've got to stay centered,
01:37and they've got to really jump out to power themselves through this track.
01:40So you see, right here, Laura's really going to have to pick up the pace.

01:45Awesome. Although she is thinking horizontally pretty well right there.
01:50We will go right now to Moe and find out the official results for Laura in the Zero-G event.

05:18Well, we've just seen our Space Race Zero G.
05:21And coming up next is our ferocious football event, Fumble.
05:24We'll kick off our second half with the all-terrain track event, Tornado Run.
05:28And then try to dodge it in our aerial dodgeball event.
05:32And the mega crag is last.
05:34That's right, folks.
05:35Someone's going home with a piece of our glowing rock.
05:38But right now, it is time for Spill Your Guts.
05:42My name is Laura, and I'm a seventh grader who likes to play softball and basketball.
05:46I consider myself a competitive athlete.
05:47So watch out.
05:48I'm going to take home a piece of that crag.
05:52Imagine Emmett's fifth on a sweep right.
05:54He's hit.
05:55Fumble.
05:56And it's your chance to recover the ball scrambling all around on the floor.
06:00Another elastic sports event here on Guts.

06:04At the sound of my whistle, each player will have 45 seconds to recover as many fumbles as possible.
06:09Players may grab more than one football at once, and only the footballs in each player's basket will be counted.

06:21As you take a look at Tina in purple, she's got the lead going into this event with 300 points.

06:44Now, remember, folks, each of your movements affects the other player and how they are pushed or pulled.

10:05Well, now it's on to our track for an all-terrain race.
10:09It's Tornado Run, folks.
10:11And right now our players are going to be making their way around our track.
10:14They've got rivers to cross.
10:16They've got a rock and earthquake.
10:18Jungle vines to fight through.
10:20And then a swamp fog waiting to bog our players down.
10:23Let's go to Mo for the rules.
10:24Mo.
10:25At the sound of my whistle, all three players will race around the track, negotiating each obstacle.
10:30First player over the finish line wins.
10:33Players, on your mark, get set.
10:37All right.
10:37And with that whistle, they wake their way around our river.
10:41And it looks like right now Laura's in the lead.
10:42She's way out in front.
10:43They go through the rock and earthquake, keeping their footing.
10:47I tell you, it's all-out speed in this event, folks.

10:50The most important thing is they go over the jungle vines.
10:53Now they must go through the first part, then up and over the second part, and powering to the lead

11:00He went off the track.
11:01He's coming through the fog.

11:04And then Tina.
11:05And then Laura.

11:07As Laura comes scrambling across at the finish line right there, she might have passed over the finish line before

12:14It's our new Elastic Sports event right here on Guts.

12:19Well, Mike, at the sound of my whistle,
12:21our players will have 60 seconds to try and dodge the balls
12:23the other two players are throwing at them.
12:25The player who scores the most hits on the opposing players wins.

12:34All right, folks, so our players are bouncing everywhere.
12:36They're going to have to grab on.
12:37There's Laura with one.
12:38She just got to score.
12:39So, folks, there's Laura with another one.
12:42She hits our purple player.

12:46And she's grabbing onto those balls.
12:48Now, folks, our players got to think about body control
12:51to avoid the balls thrown at them.
12:53And then, of course, the deadly aim to hit the opposing players.

16:29And, folks, the competition has been hot so far.
16:33Now it's about to get even hotter.
16:35In fact, the competition here on Guts is so hot that our crag has taken on a new molten color.
16:41That's right.
16:42Now it's mega.
16:43Mega large, mega sharp, and mega challenging.
16:46From its very core, the shard zone has erupted into a tangled mass of petrified lava.
16:51And now as our players climb, they'll have to compete against Stone Ledge, a horizontal rock climb,
16:57stopping them from locking in on that last actuator at the top of the crag.
17:02Also, as our players climb, they will trigger obstacles like snowstorms, floods, and nuclear flying crystals.
17:09And, of course, as they wait to climb that mountain,
17:12they will hear the sound and fury of a dormant volcano ready to blow.
17:17I hope our players are ready.
17:18Let's go to Mo.

17:19Players will start at the sound of my whistle.
17:22Each player has an identical side of the mountain to climb
17:25and may not cross into another player's path.
17:28Now, during their climb, our players must light up each of eight targets located on their side of the crag.
17:34The first player to activate all of the targets, including the final one at the peak of the crag,
17:40will receive first place points.

17:42So as our players await their biggest athletic challenge of the day,
17:47they are getting ready.
17:47You see Laura, the peace sign, getting ready, and Tina in purple right there.

17:59And let me remind you that the points, they have skyrocketed in this final mega crag event.

18:38He was on his stomach there as the flying crystals fall down on our players.

18:43That's the Destroyer.
18:44She's had a good competition all day long.
18:46And that's Laura in blue.

18:49In the middle of that snowstorm and smoke was Derek in red.
18:52He's having trouble.
18:53It looks like Laura in blue, right there, going for the last actuator.
18:58Here's Tina in purple.
19:00Derek going through the shard zone.
19:02It's a close competition.
19:04Looks like Laura is trying to fight her way to the top.
19:06It's between blue and purple.
19:08Purple at the top of Stone Ledge.
19:10It's Tina, the Destroyer, all alone at the top.
19:14We're talking second place points.
19:17We're talking Silver Rattle.
19:19Who's it going to be?
19:20Oh!
19:21I didn't see it at the buzzer.
19:23It was so, so very close at the buzzer on who locked in on that last actuator at the top
19:29of our crag.
19:30You saw our players at Stone Ledge trying to get themselves, pull themselves on top with the power and the
19:35energy to lock in on our final actuator.
19:38After fighting through the smoke, after fighting through the snow, after fighting through all of the obstacles,
19:43they locked in.
19:44We'll go to Mo and get the official results.
19:47Well, here's something tricky for you, Mike.
19:48Both our blue player and our purple player jumped off of Boulder Canyon too soon and hit their first actuator,
19:56having jumped off Boulder Canyon, having not completed Boulder Canyon.
19:59So that puts Derek in red in first place and both Laura and Tina tied in third place.
20:09Well, folks, the competition here on Guts is extremely important and you must hit all of the points on Boulder
20:16Canyon.
20:17Unfortunately or fortunately, we stick to the rules here on Guts.
20:21There was Derek in red hitting both of his actuators and setting off a snowstorm as he tried to fight
20:28his way to the top.
20:30So right here, Derek was behind, but the girls, by missing parts of Boulder Canyon, they got an early, quicker
20:38start.
20:39That was why, one of the reasons why they were so ahead of Derek in red.
20:43He was behind them and behind the actuators right here by at least one actuator who's behind heading into the
20:49shard zone.
20:50And right here, crossing into the blue player's path was Laura.
20:55You see she's standing right in the red player's path.
20:57That's our blue player, Laura, at the top of the track.
21:00So right up here, Tina in the lead at the top of Stone Ledge,
21:04not knowing that she would be penalized at the end of the race because she had locked in on or
21:12had locked in on her final actuator
21:14before she had actually hit all of the parts of Boulder Canyon.
21:18An unfortunate circumstance here today, but fortunately, we play by the rules on Gutsen.
21:23Our players go home with the medals because they've deserved them and played by the rules.
21:27We'll go to Mo and check out our final leaderboard standings.
