00:19But Garrett Cole was pitching a gem, and he comes out to the mound,
00:24and Garrett Cole's earned the right to say to him, give me one more batter.
00:28Now, after the fact, obviously, when that dude hits a two-run home run,
00:32and you wind up losing the game because of that, yeah, very easy to come back and go,
00:37Aaron Boone does know what he's doing.
00:39But I view it differently than a lot of Yankee fans.
00:41The blowout's a blowout.
00:43Ain't nothing you can do about that.
00:44But even a blowout, let's be honest.

00:48At that point, if you look, I think in the third inning, roughly in the third inning,
00:51Yamamoto had 20 pitches in.

00:59The Dodgers had a game planned, and the Yankees clearly haven't figured Yamamoto out.

01:03And he goes the distance, which is something you don't see at all in baseball.
01:06And all the runs happened late in the inning.
01:08It wasn't like they were smoking out the gate.

01:10But I think if you want to look at it without just looking at it through negative lenses,
01:14you had two really close competitive games out of the three.
01:18Like, even the late game yesterday, where you get the Chisholm home run late,
01:22which obviously is the difference, and the Yankees win by a run,
01:24the reality is that the Yankees, I think, proved to everybody, without Max Freed,
01:30without Giancarlo Stanton, and without Aaron Judge, and still a light-hitting back end of the lineup,
01:38that they can hang with the L.A. Dodgers.
01:41Now, again, losing two out of three sucks.
01:44You know, losing nine out of ten at home sucks.
01:46It is an imperfect team.
01:48I own that.
01:49They need Freed back, and it looks like he's going to be coming back, you know,
01:52because he started pitching in the minors now in the next couple of weeks and a half or so.
01:56But I know you guys are dying to see things negatively.
01:59I know a lot of you just want to say, fire Aaron Boone and Cashman sucks.
02:03The trade deadline is now 14 days away.
02:08It's on August 3rd.
02:09You know full well the Yankees are going to be active.
02:13But I took a lot of positives out of this.
