00:00My name's Ben and I'm one of the directors of Zen Motorcycles.
00:06We've been going for a couple years now. Started off as a small workshop
00:11in my other shop in in Green Square. Started it during COVID at a time and was pretty hard.
00:16To get a bit more revenue coming through I just wanted to come up with a another business and
00:21Zen Motorcycles sort of evolved from there. It's grown into what it is now like what you see with
00:27like the showroom we have a nice new workshop and everything. Yeah we came up with Zen and Zen
00:32basically it's a happy place it's our Zen to get on a motorcycle and be free and
00:38it's something that's our passion and our love. I've always had a passion for anything that we
00:42like with an engine anything that not necessarily went fast we all like to go fast but look I've
00:47always had a passion for cars and motorcycles from a young age and my passion then grew into sort of
00:52customizing bikes. I never wanted to always have my own shop obviously worked for other people in
00:57the past and yeah just I guess as I got older I wanted to do my own thing and when
01:03I have my own
01:03shop you can do your own thing and then you share it with like everyone else as well you can
01:08you know
01:09we get people come in all the time that have ideas and and and dreams of doing things for their
01:13particular bikes and we can actually do that for them and we've got the like an awesome space to do
01:18us. Look we do a bit of everything to be honest with you everything from Harley-Davidson's to
01:23cafe races on Japanese bikes obviously now we're into electric bikes too so we'll see where that
01:28takes us in the near future with even customizing with that we've always started with a with a good
01:33base bike so something that's easy to to dismantle everything is there complete and then we can go then
01:39have a discussion with the customer of what steps he wants and how he wants the bike to look so
01:44sometimes we we might custom make a part or you know the customer might have a part in mind that
01:50he wants fitted to the bike which which we're always happy to do as well so it's always a mix
01:55of
01:55everything basically yeah I think the favorite bike that we've got at the moment is this Harley-Davidson
02:01it's a 72 Sportster Harley this particular customer came in and he he wanted the full works he wanted
02:08he didn't want it to be stock basically he wanted an old school filter with a new with a new
02:14drive
02:16train in it basically so something they could hop on it kick it over straight away no worries with it
02:22you know having to flood or the choke whatever all that sort of stuff so he wanted it all chromed

02:27looking old school and the way it turned out was like we're we are pretty happy with it and the
02:32customer
02:33was pretty happy with it happy with it as well
