00:00They thought it was just a harmless prank call, until a mass killer turned their own
00:05game against them, forcing a guy to accidentally murder his best friend.

00:27The movie begins at exactly 3.30 in the morning.
00:30We meet Mrs. Copland, who is fast asleep until her phone suddenly rings.
00:35On the other end is an unknown caller claiming to be a police officer.
00:39He immediately asks whether she is home alone or if anyone else is with her.
00:43Mrs. Copland tells him that her husband is out of the country and that her daughter is
00:48asleep alone in her bedroom.
00:49The officer urgently tells her that she must follow every instruction he gives without
00:54question.
00:55Otherwise, her daughter will be in serious danger.
00:57He instructs her to lock herself safely inside her bedroom and stay away from every window,
01:02because the police are already surrounding the house.
01:05According to him, a dangerous criminal has broken into her home.
01:09He orders her not to leave her room while the officers secure the house and make sure her
01:13daughter is safe.
01:14A few moments later, Mrs. Copland hears voices over the phone.
01:18An officer urgently calls for an ambulance, yelling that the little girl is in critical
01:23danger.
01:24Mrs. Copland completely loses control and her phone slips from her hand as panic takes over.
01:29But, the caller calmly tells her that there's just one last thing she needs to know.
01:33The entire situation was fake and she has just become the victim of a prank.
01:37Then, a group of teenagers steps out while filming her horrified reaction.
01:42They laugh at Mrs. Copland and mock the fear she just went through.
01:45They're recording everything so they can upload it online and rack up millions of views on their
01:50channel.
01:51The leader of the group is Roy, and his friends are Mosley, Brady, and Sam.
01:55The story then shifts to Sam's house.
01:58He's sitting alone in front of his laptop, clearly upset after having problems with his
02:02girlfriend, Peyton.
02:03Brady sneaks in through the back door and startles him while recording everything with his camera.
02:08When Brady realizes Sam is in a bad mood, he suggests throwing a party at Sam's house
02:13since his parents are out of town. And if Sam isn't interested, they can always spend the
02:18night making prank calls like they usually do. Brady explains that this time it'll just be the
02:22two of them because the rest of the group isn't answering their phones, and Sam agrees.
02:26After that, they continue making prank calls to random people.
02:30Sam isn't worried at all, because he's using software that blocks his caller ID.
02:35Eventually, they call someone who immediately realizes it's another prank.
02:39The man asks whether they're enjoying themselves. He says they probably feel powerful hiding behind
02:45a phone while terrorizing innocent people. Then he tells them it's finally time for someone to wipe
02:50those stupid smiles off their faces. And that someone is him. Without taking him seriously,
02:55Brady hangs up. A little later, they decide to prank the house across the street.
02:59They call the homeowner and warn him that a gang has been posing as pizza delivery drivers.
03:04According to the story, the fake delivery drivers check whether a house is empty before returning
03:09later that night to rob it. The delivery driver they send is their own friend, Mosley. The two of
03:15them watch from Sam's house as the homeowner storms outside with a baseball bat and chases Mosley,
03:20believing he's part of the imaginary burglary crew. Mosley quickly realizes Brady set him up.
03:26Furious, he storms over to confront him. Mosley tells them he doesn't have time for their
03:30childish games because he's supposed to be working. After Mosley leaves, the phone rings again.
03:35It's the exact same mysterious caller from earlier, Brady answers the phone. The mysterious caller
03:41calmly tells them that their lives are about to change forever. He orders them to listen carefully
03:46and warns them not to hang up, no matter what happens. But Brady isn't interested in playing along
03:51so he hangs up immediately. For the rest of the evening, he ignores every call from the same unknown
03:56number. Eventually, Brady finally answers again. The caller quietly says that their night is only
04:03just beginning. Then he addresses Brady by his full name. The smile instantly disappears from Brady's
04:08face, because the phone they're using is supposed to hide every caller's identity. Even worse, he knows
04:14Brady's home address and he also knows exactly what his house looks like. He even knows that Brady is
04:20currently sitting inside Sam's house. The caller then says that since they're going to be spending a long
04:25night together, they can simply call him Mr. Lee. Just then, someone knocks on the door. Both Sam and
04:31Brady freeze. Each of them grabs a baseball bat. But when they open the door, they're relieved to find
04:37Paid standing outside. Paid rolls her eyes and tells them that their jokes are getting ridiculous. She
04:43explains that after Mosley left the pizza shop earlier that day, he never came back. Instead, he texted her
04:49saying he wasn't feeling well and couldn't finish his shift. Because of that, she had to handle all
04:55the deliveries herself. After she hands them the pizza and leaves, the phone rings once again.
05:00It's Mr. Lee. He casually comments that Paid seems to be leaving in a bad mood. The moment he says
05:06that,
05:07both Sam and Brady realize something terrifying. He's watching them. Brady angrily tells him he's done
05:12playing games and is about to hang up. But Mr. Lee calmly warns him that if he hangs up again,
05:17he'll have to face the consequences. Brady hesitates for a brief moment, then he hangs up anyway.
05:23A few moments later, Sam's phone vibrates. It's a text message from Mr. Lee. The message simply says
05:30that the next time he calls, they'd better answer. Now they're genuinely frightened. This man somehow
05:35knows everything about them. But Brady is convinced this has to be Mosley getting revenge for the prank
05:40they pulled on him earlier. But before anyone can relax, another message arrives. This time it's a
05:47blurry photograph of someone standing in the darkness. The only caption reads, it's not Mosley.
05:52Sam stares at the message in disbelief. How could Mr. Lee know exactly what they were just talking
05:57about? Seconds later, the house phone starts ringing and Sam answers. Mr. Lee calmly repeats
06:02that Mosley isn't the one behind any of this. Then another photo appears on Sam's phone. Brady looks
06:08at it and immediately turns pale. The picture shows his parents tied to chairs. Mr. Lee has kidnapped
06:15them. Once again, he warns them never to hang up. If they do, Brady's parents will die. Panicked,
06:21Sam hangs up anyway, hoping to call the police. But the moment he tries, he realizes something
06:26horrifying. Every device inside the house has been compromised. Brady decides he'll run outside and
06:33ask one of the neighbors for help. But, before he even reaches the door, another photo appears on his
06:38phone. This time, a knife is pressed against his mother's throat. Mr. Lee sends a clear warning.
06:44If Brady steps outside, his mother dies. Meanwhile, Sam notices that the webcam on his
06:50laptop is glowing. That's when he realizes the truth. Mr. Lee can see everything happening
06:55inside the house. Suddenly, the television turns on by itself. It shows their friend Roy tied
07:01to a chair. Mr. Lee slowly walks toward him. And without saying a word, he pulls a plastic bag
07:07over Roy's head. Within moments, he suffocates to death. Mr. Lee calmly explains that the recording
07:13was made yesterday. And according to him, that was nothing more than a warm-up for what he's about
07:18to do to them. Then the power suddenly goes out. Seconds later, another photo arrives. This time
07:24it's Mosley. He's tied up as well. Then, a faint light suddenly appears upstairs. So Sam leaves Brady
07:30downstairs and slowly heads to the second floor. While Sam is searching the rooms, Mr. Lee quietly speaks
07:36to Brady over the phone. He says he wants to make him a private offer. And Sam must never know
07:42about.
07:43If Brady accepts the deal, both he and his parents will walk away alive. Meanwhile, Sam searches every
07:49room upstairs. But he doesn't find anyone. Through the glass, he notices someone standing outside.
07:55He immediately assumes it's Mosley. Quickly, he unlocks the door. And the moment it opens,
08:00a body collapses directly onto him. It's Mosley. He's hanging lifelessly, with a plastic bag wrapped
08:07tightly around his head. And that the exact same way Roy was murdered. Sam desperately tries to save
08:13him, but it's already too late. Mosley dies in his arms. Brady quietly covers his friend's body before
08:19securely locking the back door once again. Still shaken, Brady desperately tries to convince Sam that
08:24they have to get out of the house. Mr. Lee already made it clear. Either they survive or Brady's parents
08:30do. At that moment, another video starts playing. This one shows Peyton being kidnapped right outside
08:36her own house. Sam insists that leaving the house will only put everyone in even greater danger,
08:41including Peyton and Brady's parents. But Brady has had enough. He punches Sam and tells him they're
08:47leaving whether he likes it or not. During the struggle, Brady loses his balance, crashes into the
08:53staircase, and is knocked unconscious. Seconds later, another recording appears on the television.
08:59Peyton is tied up and completely at Mr. Lee's mercy. Mr. Lee tells Sam that he can still save her,
09:05if he kill his best friend. He reveals that he offered Brady the exact same deal earlier,
09:10and Brady chose his friendship with Sam over saving his own parents. Now it's Sam's turn to make the
09:15decision. Mr. Lee tells him that he's free to leave the house whenever he wants. But if he does,
09:21everyone else will die because of the choice he makes. Panicking, Sam runs into the kitchen.
09:25He grabs a rope and tightly ties Brady to the staircase before he regains consciousness.
09:31If Brady can't leave the house then maybe everyone still has a chance to survive.
09:35Sam tells him that neither of them is going anywhere until they figure out why this man is
09:39doing all of this. Suddenly, the lights go out once again, then, the television turns back on.
09:45It shows a little girl while her mother gently sings her. As Sam watches, something about the little
09:51girl feels strangely familiar. Then he suddenly remembers. She once sent him a friend request
09:56on social media. He quickly opens her profile. The moment the page loads, both he and Brady are
10:03horrified. Their own photos along with pictures of Roy, Mosley, and the rest of their friends have
10:10been posted all over the account. And those photos have been there for nearly six months. Then Sam notices
10:16another video on the page. Its title simply reads, Payton 3. The instant he sees it, Sam tells Brady not
10:23to open the video. He immediately shuts the laptop. But the television suddenly starts playing the exact
10:29same video and Sam watches in disbelief. The footage shows Brady secretly cheating with Payton behind his
10:35back. Sam throws himself at Brady and begins beating him mercilessly. Mr. Lee calmly reminds Sam that

11:15he wants. But only after Sam keeps his side of their agreement. Sam silently walks into the kitchen.
11:21He picks up a large knife. Brady watches him, convinced he's about to die. Instead, Sam cuts the
11:28ropes and frees him. The television screen suddenly changes. Instead of a live feed, it replays the very
11:34first video Mr. Lee recorded when he introduced himself. In the recording, he calmly explains how
11:40he learned every detail about their lives, their names, and their addresses. Then he casually steps
11:46away from the camera, as he does. The bodies of Brady's parents are revealed behind him. And Mr. Lee
11:52had been inside Brady's house when he made that recording. Both Sam and Brady realize they've been
11:57manipulated from the very beginning. They believe Payton is probably dead too. Sam decides to escape,
12:03but Brady refuses to leave. He tells Sam he'll stay behind and cover him. It's the least he can do
12:10after betraying his best friend. With no other choice, Sam runs out of the house. Brady stays
12:16behind alone. As Sam runs through the neighborhood, he notices something familiar. The vehicle that
12:21appeared in one of Mr. Lee's videos is parked nearby. Right next to Payton's car, he cautiously
12:27approaches it. Looking inside, he finds Payton tied up but still alive and he quickly frees her.
12:33Then he tells her to call the police immediately. Brady slowly steps outside. Then he notices another
12:39body lying in the backyard. It's Mosley. Confused, he looks back toward the body inside the house.
12:45That's when he realizes the horrifying truth. The figure lying by the back door wasn't Mosley at all.
12:51It was Mr. Lee wearing the same disguise, but before Brady can react. Mr. Lee is suddenly standing
12:58right behind him. Outside, Sam hears Brady's desperate cry for help. Without thinking twice,
13:03he turns around and rushes back to save his friend. He reaches the backyard and finds Mosley's body lying
13:09in the grass, but Brady is nowhere to be found. Sam runs back inside the house and searches every room,
13:15calling out his friend's name. Before long, Pid suddenly screams in terror after discovering Mosley's
13:21body outside. Sam rushes toward her. And the instant he reaches her. He notices someone standing
13:27directly behind him. It's Mr. Lee. He's wearing a mask and holding a knife. Sam immediately swings
13:34the baseball bat he's been carrying. During the struggle, Sam manages to turn the knife against him
13:39and stabs him. Mr. Lee collapses to the floor. But as he looks closer, he notices something strange.
13:46The knife has been strapped to the attacker's hand. Then he spots a familiar tattoo. It's identical to
13:51the one Brady has. Confused, Sam quickly pulls off the mask. His entire world falls apart. The person
13:58he just killed, is Brady. His mouth had been taped shut the whole time, which is why he couldn't say
14:03a single word. Without realizing it, Sam has just killed his own best friend. As Sam stands there in
14:09complete shock, the real Mr. Lee calmly steps out of the shadows. He tells Sam that everything happening
14:15tonight is nothing more than justice. Justice for what Sam and his friends did to his family.
14:21He explains that his wife's name was Mrs. Copland, the same woman they mercilessly terrorized with
14:26their prank call. While Sam and his friends laughed and enjoyed themselves, Mrs. Copland genuinely
14:31believed her daughter was about to die. Terrified, she reached for the handgun her family kept hidden
14:37beneath the bed for protection. She rushed toward her daughter's bedroom. But when she looked at the bed,
14:42her daughter wasn't there. Just then, the bathroom door suddenly opened, believing the intruder had
14:48come after her child. Mrs. Copland instinctively pulled the trigger. Only after the shot was fired
14:54did she realize the truth. The person walking out of the bathroom was her own daughter. And she had
15:00accidentally killed her. Mrs. Copland took her own life later that same night. Mr. Lee says that from
15:05that moment on, he made a promise to himself. Every single person responsible for destroying his family
15:11would pay for it. After revealing the truth, Mr. Lee knocks Sam unconscious. Sometime later,
15:17Sam wakes up inside his own house. He's holding the same knife that killed Brady and the same gun
15:22that was used to kill Peyton. Moments later, the police arrive. From everything they find at the
15:27scene, the evidence points to only one suspect, Sam. He's immediately arrested for multiple murders.
15:34Later, the news reports the horrifying story. According to the official investigation,
15:38a teenager named Sam discovered that his best friend, Brady, had been having an affair with his
15:44girlfriend, Peyton. Driven by jealousy and revenge, he murdered both of them. And with all the evidence
15:49carefully arranged against him. No one has any reason to believe otherwise. That's where the movie comes
