Nevada Governor Gets Out of Traffic Ticket After Name-Dropping Himself to Officer: ‘Come On, Man’

Nevada Gov. Joe Lombardo appeared to dodge a traffic violation ticket after identifying himself to a Las Vegas police officer. The exchange between Lombardo, 63, and an officer with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) on May 15 was captured in a police body cam video that has since been obtained by media. In the video, a cop could be seen pulling over a pickup truck and then getting out of his car to talk to the driver of the truck and a female passenger, who were identified as the governor and his wife, Donna.
