01:04this um it's really strange today really is the last sort of heart stopper thing it's the last hurrah
01:11so it's it's it's strange um it's bittersweet and it's and it's beautiful you know it's beautiful
01:18to do it in a way where we're all together and we um and we can celebrate together and we've
01:25made a
01:25film that i think we all are really proud of and happy about so it's um yeah it's nice it's
01:31sad but
01:31it's nice do you know what i actually cried over there uh so that was unexpected but it's not goodbye
01:39it's just see you later see you later gorgeous that's what it is and whenever i want to feel
01:45in the hospital world i'll just watch it because it's on netflix forever
01:48forever i think i've had a lot of time to you know gird my loins so i feel all right

01:57like much sadder at the time for sure i was not okay in the car ride home but i think

02:04i'm ready to send it off in this beautiful way with these beautiful people and um yeah i mean i

02:11that i sort of don't process things in the moment uh so i think i'll probably be like maybe in

02:19couple of months i'll be like surely the call that we're going back for another season's coming
02:24through right and it won't be um but i also think that you know it it's definitely the right time
02:29to
02:29finish it end it on a high and and close the chapter really beautifully and to do that with a
02:33movie is
02:33really special um so yeah i'm actually it's not hit me yet it's not hit me when we watch the
02:39film
02:39and like it gets emotional i'll i'll come out with no makeup on um but it hasn't hit me yet
02:44because
02:45it's so such an atmosphere here so just full of love and excitement that i don't feel sad yet
02:50i mean it's bittersweet isn't it it's always like sad to say goodbye but i think i feel really grateful
02:56that we've been able to close it in the way that we have and put a proper full stop under
03:00everything
03:00because so often you don't get the chance to do that um so it feels like a real treat i
03:05think you
03:05know i joined i was i joined season two and it was such like a a big deal for me
03:09to join i was
03:10just kind of grateful just to be able for one season so to be in the movie like it's just
03:14such
03:14a blessing and you know it's such a nice goodbye to everything and it's yeah i just feel grateful
03:18to do this whole thing so yeah i mean it's a beautiful thing and it's beautiful to see all the
03:22kids grow up as well you know some of them that were real teenagers um so i was talking to
03:27fizz
03:27yesterday and we were like it's a beautiful way to say goodbye and it's actually nice to have a bit
03:32somber goodbyes you know because a lot of time you're just like let me get out of there so it's
03:36a special one it's not hit me yet i think it probably won't hit me to like a random day
03:40in
03:40september and i'll be at home like oh god okay it's done it's such a mixed feeling i'm kind of
03:46like
03:47i feel like one moment i might like burst out laughing and the next like break down um and i
03:52think
03:52if i look at anyone if any of my classmates face for too long i am just gonna start crying
03:57and i might
03:58just start crying now um it's such an honor to get to work with people i love so much and
04:05like
04:05obviously we will see each other there's nothing quite like getting paid to hang out with your
04:09friends uh it is quite sad actually it is quite sad um i guess you know all good things have
04:16to come
04:16to an end and the way they do tie it up is quite it's quite lovely it's beautiful but um
04:21yeah just
04:22i guess i don't have to be sad yet maybe tomorrow paired with the hangover oh no that's not the
04:29hangover i know no that's it it's gonna be the hangover from hell no heartstopper and i'm hanging
04:34a heartstopper hangover no we can't obviously no one's happy that it's ending right but are you
04:40happy with how it ends oh 100 and and i think the fans will as well i think it's like
04:46it's everyone
04:47gets their guess um yeah i think so yeah definitely i'm happy with how it ends it wraps it up
04:58in a
04:59nice open open bow i'll say because yeah that's all i'll say oh yeah yeah i was saying to someone
05:08up there love always out so no matter what we see these characters go through or what might happen
05:16in the future when we can't see what they go through we know that love always wins um so and
05:21that's that's what matters in the end and also it's not ending because you can just re-watch it
05:27and pretend that you never watched it before yeah i think it's the perfect ending we leave everyone
05:32and the audience gets to kind of imagine what happens next which i think is the best way to do
05:37it
05:37i think so i think it's a really mature beautifully told story and i'm really excited for everyone to see
05:44it's brilliant yeah i think do you know what i feel like you get to watch like young love go
05:49up and
05:49i think it has to end at some point and i think alice has done such a good story and
05:54she's like that
05:54and yeah i just think it's super lovely i can't wait for everyone to see it so i'm not happy
05:59that
05:59it's ended i'm happy how it's ending i am happy with how it ends it's also kind of slightly open
06:04-ended
06:04in a way which i think is good you know so that people can can sort of imagine whatever they
06:10want and
06:10and that's a beautiful thing i think yeah totally i think it's so nice that nick and charlie get that
06:17proper closure and i'm happy where we leave all of the couples actually i think it makes sense and
06:23it feels right for them and it just feels like perfect tied it up in a bow all the characters
06:32get
06:32to be tied up um which i think is is the most important thing fulfilling the journeys i need
06:38to be fulfilled um and like i say having a movie for that it's really special sort of footnote on
06:44what has been you know a really beautiful five years i think it's ending in the perfect way and
06:50there's nothing worse than things that drag on for too long and like when you get to like season seven
06:55of a show like you're for you're 35 and you're playing a 17 year old like let's hang it up
07:00now
07:00the money can't be that good um and so i think it's really good that we're ending it at the
07:05right
07:06time with the right story in a really nice cinematic way how proud do you feel of the legacy that
07:12you've
07:12left with the fans with this show because there's such a beautiful community it's really a rare thing
07:18and to be able to do a job where people really genuinely care about the work that you're putting out
07:23and
07:23and the message behind it is really special and um and i feel obscenely lucky to have been able to
07:30be
07:30a part of it um and for people to associate me with that like it's a it's a it's a
07:36real honor and a
07:37privilege i it's kind of insane because we started and still shot in this tiny little school in slough
07:45and so for this tiny thing that we made like on a shoestring budget to become this global hit is
07:52so
07:53wild like when i get stopped by people i'm like i can't believe you know who i am it's still
07:58very
07:58wild it really is and like we had no idea when we started filming it it would have the impact
08:03that it's
08:03had and i feel so privileged that my first job has been this and i hope to set that precedent
08:09of the
08:10work that i'm doing in the industry to to have the same level of transformation for people and to be
08:15important stories to tell that's really really important to me so i feel grateful that was sort of the
08:20precedent that's been set for me um really really really proud i think the love you the fan show
08:26is it's quite special it's unique they they actually care and love like love the show and
08:34love the characters and love the world and and i think for a lot of for a lot of young
08:38kids growing
08:38up it gives them a place of safety which is so important so proud i mean it's yeah the fans
08:46have
08:46kind of made the show a thing completely different to what any of us ever imagined um so yeah so
08:51grateful that they all got behind us that first season and have stayed with us all the way until
08:55today i joined in season two and i remember joining and feeling really scared and not necessarily a
09:01pressure uh or a well there was a pressure to do well but more so for the fandom because these
09:07characters mean so much to them and it's so nice to end the journey with them all here and and
09:13watching
09:13the film with us yeah more than anything i think it's that it's brought people together made people
09:18see feel feel seen made them feel held um i think that's worth its weight in gold if art's about
09:23anything it's about that i think you know what i feel like it's so nice to see so many young
09:28queer
09:29people come together and such a beautiful thing and i was 18 19 when the show first came out and
09:33to
09:33see it like affect so many people around me it's just so beautiful and i think it's just such a
09:37brilliant thing so yeah do you know it's it's an honor actually because there's so many other people
09:43that like go into the work of this world and do so much more than i i do like alice
09:52writes the whole
09:53thing we've got all of the creatives who visualize the whole thing so i think i'm just a little cog
09:59in
09:59that wheel and it's such an honor to be a part of like to be telling these stories that matter
10:05so much
10:05to so many people it's amazing i've met so many incredible young people like really really brave
10:12really smart really political really like creative young people that like are so bold and so themselves
10:23and i'm so amazed by them and i just if i had any part in that like i i am
10:28so overjoyed
