As the rotation comes around, the skier fails to set the skis down cleanly and drops into the snow, continuing to slide and drag across the surface.
It’s a quick reminder that even a committed attempt can turn into a messy finish.
The clip ends with the skier still skidding along the slope as the snow kicks up around them.
