00:27leaving her severely injured. The footage that has emerged from the evening of the 5th of July
00:32that has now surfaced. CCTV footage is from around 6.30pm in the evening on the 5th of July. Watch
00:39those pictures very carefully. Amid heavy rain, a woman named Deepa Amit Dinoja was walking along
00:45the footpath on her way to work. Suddenly a tin sheet from the roof of the nearby Gokul Dwar
00:52building was blown away due to strong winds, a large section of the airborne tin sheet that
00:58fell directly onto the woman's head and body causing her serious injuries. She sustained
01:03a deep head wound that required 20 to 22 stitches. Fortunately there was a shop's, I beg your
01:11pardon, a shop projecting awning at the spot where the accident occurred. This prevented
01:18the tin sheet from striking the woman with full force, full direct force thereby averting a
01:24potential fatal tragedy and saved her life. Immediately after the incident locals rushed to
01:30the scene and admitted the injured woman to Rabi hospital. Her condition is currently reported to be
01:36stable and she is undergoing treatment. There you see that CCTV footage that will show you the exact
01:44moments of when that woman got hit. She was unaware, she was walking on the road and it was raining
01:50heavily. The winds were so strong as is being said by most Mumbai cars that the strong winds this year
01:57that has made it all the more difficult and dangerous that led to this particular tin sheet

02:09because of which the impact got reduced but had that not been there, it could have led to a fatal

02:47week of July in MMR region which is Vasai, Virar, Nala Sopara, the night had come to a standstill,
02:54there was water on railway tracks, on roads, there was no electricity, internet had shut down and one such
03:01incident as we are reporting through CCTV footage happened in Vasai on July 5th and you can see
03:07when the women are walking on the footpath, you can see the road is filled with water and then adjoining
03:14to Kutpat a shed which was in a dilapidated condition that fell on her and you can see a situation

03:21was unconscious on the spot and then she was later treated at a hospital and thankfully nothing major
03:30happened to her and she is out of danger. But this incident has only reflected not only Mumbai,
03:37the peripheral area of Mumbai infrastructure is weak, heavy rainfall put lives at risk.
03:44So heavy rainfall essentially means for people of Mumbai in and around Mumbai that they should not
03:50venture out because a tree can collapse on them, they can fall in an open manhole or some dilapidated
03:57structure can fall on them. So this has been the situation in and around Mumbai as you can see
