00:00Over their first 92 games, they had 24 errors, right?
00:03They were the best defensive team in baseball.
00:05And then this week, you know, they had like nine in this five-game stretch
00:09where they threw away the one game against the Rockies,
00:11and they, you know, were just so bad in this D-back series.
00:18The first time all season they've gotten swept in a series.
00:21You know, the defense, yes, was a problem.
00:24The hitting was a problem.
00:25It just looked like a team that was checked out.
00:27And if there's one thing you got to avoid if you're the Dodgers,
00:30it's that those years we've seen them have big leads
00:33and kind of coast into the playoffs and not play well once they got to October
00:37is because like the standard drops a little bit.
00:40You know, both in 22 and 23, they didn't play great in September
00:43and it carried over into the postseason.
00:45So while this was a one-week sample that I think was not at all a coincidence
00:50that it happened right before the All-Star break,
00:52it is something that, you know, this is the kind of thing
00:55they're going to have to guard against once the season resumes next week.
00:58And as they go down this stretch run here to make sure that
01:02they're kind of maintaining that standard that got them here
01:05and that they're going to need to tap back into when they get to October.
01:08I'm going to take a little bit of a wall.
01:08So yeah, that was going to be a little bit too short.
