00:00Come along with me as I attend a round 16 match of the World Cup in New York, New Jersey.
00:04I started my day at the W Hoboken for some pre-match drinks and bites. We then shuttled
00:08over to the stadium and made our way to the hospitality suite. Before we entered our own
00:12suite, we were handed two boxes with these adorable New York, New Jersey themed pins.
00:16We also received a round 16 FIFA World Cup coin. We made our way to the Marriott Bonvoy suite and
00:22let me tell you, it did not disappoint. Lots of delicious food, an open bar, and most importantly
00:27for everyone in the East Coast right now, AC. The Marriott team gave everyone these cute FIFA
00:32swag bags and included a few pieces from Tombolo. Here's a shirt modeled by travel and leisure
00:36editor Elizabeth Rhodes. Then it was time to sit and watch the game. Our round 16 match was Brazil
00:42versus Norway with Brazil favored to win. While the stadium was packed with Brazil fans, there were
00:46still two small but mighty sections of Norway fans ready to cheer on the internet's favorite footballer,
00:51Erling Haaland. We watched the field get all dressed up for the anthems and then we were off. Norway
00:56shocked the entire stadium with a 2-1 win and Haaland ended the entire match leading the famous
01:01Norway row. It was definitely a bucket list experience and now I'm decidedly a Norway fan.
01:06Thanks for coming along.
