00:37Three high-productivity body styles, including a chassis cab.
00:42Optimized cost of ownership, comprehensive standard fit specification, plus full transit

00:51It's based on a dedicated electric vehicle platform and comes in three versatile body
00:57styles.
00:57A compact L1-H1 van, a more spacious L2-H2 van and even a chassis cab.
01:06Available across all European markets, it's strategically priced between the electric e-transit courier
01:13and the e-transit custom.
01:15With a laser focus on simplicity and value, Transit City has a single standard specification.
01:23Let's look at the details.
01:24Transit City is powered by a 56kWh LFP battery, offering a targeted WLTP range of up to 254km
01:35on the L1-H1 model.
01:38Based on data from thousands of Ford connected vehicles, we can see that 90% of electric vehicle
01:44customers in this segment drive less than 110km each day.
01:49So we believe the battery size is well-suited to the needs of urban operators.
01:55City delivery drivers can make in excess of 200 parcel drops each day.
02:00With a responsive 110kWh e-motor and nimble front-wheel drive chassis, Transit City is ideally suited to intensive
02:10multi-stop operations.
02:11And of course, charging is all-important.
02:15For quick top-ups, 67kWh DC charging will take you from 10% to 80% in approximately 30 minutes.
02:24With a 10-minute charge adding roughly 50km of range.
02:28And for overnight on-site charging, an 11kWh AC charge can deliver 10% to 100% in just over
02:365 hours.
02:36So, with off-peak electricity tariffs, businesses can achieve significant energy cost savings
02:44compared to diesel.
02:46Cost of ownership for customers is also reduced by significant savings in servicing costs, which
02:52are estimated to be around 40% lower than comparable diesel vehicles, helped by lengthy two-year
02:58or 40,000km or 25,000-mile service intervals.
03:03To keep costs and complexity to a minimum, Transit City comes complete with a generous standard
03:11specification.
03:12The cabin is comfortable and fully equipped, featuring keyless start, air conditioning and
03:19a heated driver's seat.
03:20There's a 12-inch touchscreen with seamless smartphone integration for both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto,
03:28so that customers can utilise their favourite apps such as navigation and AI assistance.
03:35The interior features plenty of practical storage and attractive, hard-wearing materials throughout.
03:42To help minimise stress behind the wheel in busy city streets, Transit City includes a comprehensive
03:50suite of driver assistance features, such as adaptive cruise control, front and rear parking sensors,
03:57rear-view camera and automatic emergency braking.
04:01For fleet customers who need to connect Transit City to their vehicle management or telematics systems,
04:08we offer a plug-in device.
04:11Transit City offers high productivity body styles.
04:15The larger L2 H2 van offers over eight cubic metres of load space, a competitive 1,275kg of payload,
04:26and a maximum load length of over three metres.
04:30The load space on both van models features a standard load liner, half-height trim and eight tie-down points
04:38for securing cargo. But perhaps the most interesting Transit City variant is the chassis cab, which gives Ford its first
04:47entry in the one-tonne chassis cab segment.
04:49The chassis rail design has been carefully optimised, designed to provide converters with easier access and simplified assembly.
04:58The result positions Transit City to be a donor vehicle of choice for a wide range of conversions.
05:05Transit City has been engineered and tested to the same rigorous global durability standards as all transit commercial vehicles,
05:14with punishing test cycles replicating 10 years or over 240,000 kilometres of usage in the hands of the most
05:24extreme customers.
05:25So it's tough, it's capable, and of course, it's backed by a comprehensive Ford warranty for the base vehicle.
05:32And eight years or 160,000 kilometres for the high-voltage components.
05:38And like all Ford commercial vehicles, Transit City is fully supported by our 800-strong European network of transit centre
05:47dealers.
05:48So, there it is, the all-new Ford Transit City, arriving in European dealerships at the end of this year.
