00:00Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has congratulated Barisan Nasional on its victory in the Johor
00:06State election, saying it is now time to move forward. Anwar, who also chairs Pakatan Harapan,
00:12expressed hope BN would carry out its responsibilities in the best interest of
00:17Johor and its people. In a Facebook post, he said that with the election and democratic process
00:23ended, all parties must now prioritise service and responsibility to the people.
00:28Anwar reaffirmed the federal government's commitment to Johor, saying Putrajaya intends
00:34to continue strengthening the state's development agenda and improving the well-being of its people.
00:40He thanked Johor voters for fulfilling their civic duty, and election workers and party machinery
00:46who had worked hard throughout the campaign. Anwar said all PH candidates, irrespective of whether
00:52they had won or lost, have been instructed to continue serving the people and voicing their
00:57concerns. Earlier, PH's Johor election director Aamiruddin Shari said the coalition had won eight seats,
