00:00Hey, I'm Fan Buckley, come with me as a sports presenter to the British Grand Prix.
00:04Day one, had to head to the media centre to pick up my pass,
00:07wandered around the track under the famous cops tunnel heading towards the paddock.
00:10Anyone that's seen the Netflix series Drive to Survive will know how iconic the turnstiles are.
00:15I had a proper pinch me moment walking through them for the first time.
00:18Now, I was lucky enough to experience a Pirelli hot lap around Silverstone,
00:22not realising I'd have Alpine F1 driver Franco Colopinto behind the wheel.
00:26Good job, I hadn't eaten lunch.
00:27It was wild having a casual convo while getting up to 200mph on an historic track.
00:33Worked up an appetite after, so grabbed some truffle carbonara before chilling out for a few hours in the sun.
00:39Then had my own pit stops in the toilets to get ready for the Disney dinner,
00:42which was honestly the most surreal meal of my life, eating in the F1 pits,
00:46as Disney and Formula One announced a partnership with Make-A-Wish,
00:50with a surprise appearance from driver Pierre Gasly.
00:52Day two started at the F1 Academy paddock.
00:55If you know me, you know how much I love this series,
00:57what it means, all these young girls living out their dreams of racing.
01:00Tash Gowry showed up with Minnie Mouse.
01:02Wella, had the most amazing pop-up with F1 games, hair styling, a wind machine,
01:07and I managed to get my Disney driving licence, which was pretty cool.
01:10Plus, if you want a little cry, have a look at some of the messages of support that were left
01:13for the girls.
01:14So amazing.
01:15Got a buggy over to the main paddock,
01:17and got my first glimpse of Lewis Hamilton.
01:19That guy is so sneaky.
01:20You don't hear anything from him.
01:22Then, bam, a media frenzy.
01:24Charles Leclerc popping out the Ferrari Mobiles 2,
01:26then felt very lucky to be on the grid for the F1 Academy race of absolutely unreal day.
01:31Day three was sprint racing qualifying.
01:32I based myself at the pop-up hotel, who built a pool in the middle of the track this year.
01:37Not a bad spot to watch the action.
01:39They also had an area to sort your hair out.
01:41Look at all those Dysons.
01:42The actual dream.
01:43Treating myself to a glass of bubbles because it had been another crazy day.
01:47Then, on to day four, the main event, the Grand Prix race.
01:50Nothing prepares you for paddock on race day.
01:52Walking past all these fab celebrities,
01:54my icon Hannah Waddingham, Lewis Capaldi,
01:57the beautiful Amanda Holden told me she loved my dress.
01:59Cute!
02:00Was on the grid again for the F2 race.
02:02Got to the podium for the celebrations.
02:04Did some more people watching before the F1.
02:06Excitement was truly starting to build.
02:08Hung outside Ferrari for a little bit to see if Kimmy K showed up,
02:11but found Brian May and Olly Murs instead.
02:14Then, it was time to find my spot for the race.
02:15Parked myself in one of the hotels opposite the pits.
02:18Had a moment to take it all in because it's been a wild ride.
02:21It was an amazing race.
02:22Two Brits on the podium.
02:24Look at all that support.
02:25And it didn't end there.
02:26Got to the Red Bull after party with tiny temper.
02:28The millennial inside me was screaming,
02:30what a way to end the British Grand Prix.
