00:59She's very vulnerable.

02:17We've worked together in the past,
02:18so I knew that we would have, like, instant chemistry together.
02:21I've been a huge fan of The Walking Dead universe,
02:24and I feel very grateful to be a part of it.

02:29We've got Jimmy Simpson as Dillard.
02:31He's Negan's new bar buddy.
02:33How does Dillard fit into this community?
02:35I would say he kind of doesn't.

02:46It's been, you know, 11 years of these characters interacting,
02:52but kind of interacting on the same plane,
02:54and I think that this year the characters definitely are ready to move on.
02:59You're sort of at a place where this feels like their last chance

03:05If we don't have something to build towards,

03:10and I think Negan thinks that he's okay,
03:14but we all know that a life without purpose dwindles pretty fast.
