Water concessionaire allegedly discharging waste into Laguna Lake

A video taken in Barangay Ithan, Binangonan, Rizal, on July 9, 2026 shows a broken Manila Water pipe allegedly discharging waste into the Laguna Lake, according to Fisherfolk group Pambansang Lakas ng Kilusang Mamamalakaya ng Pilipinas (Pamalakaya).  The group said the discharge was linked to the reported fish kill on the Rizal side of the Laguna Lake.
