Relief packs sent to 'Opong'-ravaged Masbate  Social Welfare Regional Director Norman Laurio of Bicol tells _The Manila Times_on Sept. 27, 2025 that Masbate had been hard hit by Typhoon "Opong." The DSWD-Bicol sent relief packs to the island province as soon as the storm signals were lifted. Masbate currently has no electricity after its power lines were downed by the storm.
