This is a short (not great quality) video showing a strange storm that hit us in September 2007. The sky went a mean green colour then the wind hit, knocking the trees over from side to side, rian, hail. It felt like we were in a hurricane. We ran for cover with the dogs, shut the doors and the noise was incredible. Afterwards the area looked like a machine gun had gone through everything, veggies, plants, trees, car windows! I believe this is known as a Gota Fria. It only lasted about half an hour but caused a lot of destruction throughout the province.
