Thunderstorms with 60mph winds caused a power line to erupt into flames.

A tree fell into a power line after storms hit Kansas City, Missouri, causing a blaze.

Brett Bauer, 36, said: "We were inside, and the wind was blowing really hard, and we heard a loud noise.

"So my roommate and I walked outside and looked in our backyard, and a tree was smoking.

"We noticed the wind blowing over a large limb onto the power line.
