00:00Why not make a tree skirt from paper? It's a straightforward project that will add bright
00:04color to the base of your Christmas tree, and it's really simple to make. And I'm using a ribbed
00:10craft paper. It's a very nice paper, easy to fold, easy to work with. And then you're going to score
00:15every inch along the 27-inch length of the paper. So here we have the paper all neatly marked,
00:22ready to fold. And you're going to fold on those scored edges. You're folding in an accordion
00:29pattern, one forward, one backward. Look, it opens into an elegant fan. And now we have to make a
00:35hole, draw your ribbon, and here you have your pleated paper tree skirt, which makes a wonderful
00:42backdrop for your presence under your trade.
