01:07including an attempt to frighten Chinese voters into believing a vote for Barisan would benefit pass.
01:14He dismissed this as baseless, noting Barisan was contesting all 56 seats on its own,
01:20and pointed instead to remarks by Pakatan leader Dr. Mazli Malik,
01:25who had said the coalition was open to working with other parties to form the state government if necessary.
01:31With polling day near, Kairi urged Barisan supporters to move beyond a defensive stance
01:37and actively counter these narratives.
01:40Kairi, who recently rejoined UMNO as an ordinary member after being sacked,
01:45said he hoped Johor would ignite a blue wave that would extend to Negeri Sembilan and Malacca
01:52before carrying into the next general election.
