00:00These are the keys.
00:02I have 27 storage facilities,
00:05about $10 million in Christmas decor.
00:08I forgot about this robot.
00:10More is always more.
00:11My rough estimate about how many blow molds I have
00:14is close to about a thousand.
00:17It's not a race, dad.
00:18Don't worry about me.
00:19You make sure their straps are tight.
00:20You know, you got these guys.
00:22You want the one in the back?
00:24That one way in the back.
00:25Oh, okay.
00:26I'll give you your whole garage back
00:27if we get it on the tree.
00:29D-tree?
00:30That tree, like, 5,000 bucks?
00:32Yes.
00:41Let's go.
00:42Hurry up, Ricky D!
00:42I'm hurrying, honey.
00:44We're here.
00:45We made it to the Christmas store.
00:46The best place in the world.
00:48I guess it is.
00:49Let's do it.
00:50You ready to spend some money?
00:51Let's go.
00:51Excuse me?
00:53I'll do this.
00:54Where do you need?
00:55What?
00:55Okay, go ahead.
00:56Get you one.
00:57We need two?
00:59We might need four.
01:00I think one is good enough.
01:02Oh, my God.
01:03Look at this.
01:04Black and gold.
01:06Okay.
01:07I'm Ricardo.
01:08I'm Candace.
01:09We've been married for five years.
01:11And we love some Christmas.
01:14I was drawn in.
01:16Mm-hmm.
01:17Ricky D.
01:18Oh, my goodness.
01:19Look at this, Reeve.
01:20This will be perfect for the house.
01:21How does it?
01:21Yeah.
01:21Christmas home tour.
01:22All the guests can take selfies.
01:24Every year, we have a Christmas home tour.
01:27You have to purchase a ticket.
01:28And that raises money for different charities.
01:32We always ask our guests to bring, like, socks, underwear.
01:35And then, also, I do another thing for the Galveston County Food Bank.
01:39So, we always ask to bring canned goods.
01:41This is our nutcracker theme.
01:43And this is my bride and joy, our nine-footer.
01:46A little fun fact, this was my next-door neighbor's tree.
01:49They had threw it out on the curb, and I took it, and it's a fabulous tree now.
01:54This is our New Year's room.
01:57We incorporated the upside-down tree.
01:59Super cute.
02:00And we have a little champagne bar here.
02:03This is my daughter's Sierra's room.
02:05This one has the sugar plum fairy, the Papa Noel, the unicorns.
02:12When people come inside my home, I just want them to feel like this is somewhere I've never seen before.
02:17To see the smiles, it makes me tons of joy.
02:21And that's my passion.
02:22This is our lovely kitchen nook.
02:24There has our peppermint candy filled.
02:26And we're gonna come over here to our lovely stove where they'll have our little baked goods.
02:31Are you able to eat in your own kitchen?
02:34Hmm.
02:35I can eat in the kitchen if I'm standing up because this is hardly any space in there.
02:41Everywhere it's covered in the kitchen.
02:42In the oven, it's filled with pies that you can't eat.
02:46The countertops all filled with Christmas stuff.
02:48We lose the dining room table.
02:50We lose every place in the house to where it should be livable for like nine months.
02:57We start Christmas in June, July, August, September, October, November, December, January.
03:07We're still going.
03:08February, Valentine's.
03:10The shift.
03:12And she starts changing the house over.
03:13Yeah.
03:14Do we have a game plan?
03:15The plan is we shop.
03:17Hello?
03:18Yeah.
03:18We pick for every room.
03:19Every room is a different theme each year.
03:22Okay.
03:23And I'm looking for my tree.
03:25All right.
03:26My regular full-time job is surgical technologist.
03:29I work in labor and delivery.
03:31I'm retired from, you know, doing insurance.
03:33And I also play music.
03:35That's a really nice piece there, honey.
03:36Right there.
03:37Right here.
03:37Right behind you.
03:38You're missing it.
03:39I'm missing it.
03:40You missed that?
03:40I saw it.
03:41It's beautiful.
03:42Okay.
03:43So I started decorating in 2013 and went into a department store.
03:47I had bought a flower arrangement.
03:49I was like, oh, this is super cute.
03:50And then from that one little flower arrangement, just expanded.
03:54She loves it.
03:55As I should think about, yes, it never stops.
03:58I'm on a whole nother level.
04:01Let's put it in your basket.
04:04Okay.
04:06What do we need it for?
04:07A candy shop.
04:08You can use this downstairs.
04:09Okay.
04:09A sweet shop.
04:10Being with her at the store, it feels good to enjoy being there.
04:14And the fact that I have to make sure that we don't go over budget,
04:18even though we don't have a budget.
04:19You know, just be sensible about how we spend our money.
04:23If you didn't have a budget or a restraint,
04:25wouldn't you want the whole store?
04:26Yes.
04:28The whole entire store.
04:32We got plenty of stuff. Are we close to leaving?
04:34No, no. I'm looking for this tree.
04:36For the trees?
04:37A tree.
04:38A specific tree.
04:39That's the tree right there.
04:40That's the tree over there.
04:41That's not the tree that I really want.
04:43This is the tree that I really want.
04:44Let me see the tree you want.
04:45Is it not fat?
04:46Look at the little arms.
04:47That's a really nice tree.
04:48It has a little face on there with the little ballerina.
04:51It's super cute.
04:52I love it.
04:54And I just really, really want the tree.
04:56I've always wanted it for like two years now.
04:59How big is that tree?
05:00It's about a seven footer.
05:01No worries.
05:02Is it about seven footer?
05:03Okay.
05:03Okay.
05:04I'm afraid to ask how much, so don't answer that.
05:07It's...
05:09Okay.
05:09500.
05:10Cool.
05:11Add a zero to it.
05:13How much?
05:15One, two, three, four, five.
05:16And then...
05:16Add a zero.
05:18Okay.
05:19But I'm sure they got a tree outside.
05:20I am positive they got one that you're gonna love.
05:22Uh, hoping that it would go down on the price.
05:26But, uh, it's staying strong on that price.
05:31He's not impressed.
05:34$5,000?
05:35Yes, sir.
05:36Hmm.
05:36That's a special tree.
05:38It's a beautiful tree.
05:39I need it in my life.
05:40You do too.
05:41No way I can convince you to get one of these trees versus that tree.
05:44No.
05:46It's obsession.
05:47It's over the top.
05:48But it's what she loves.
05:50I get it.
05:50I've been there in another area, which is music.
05:53You know, sometimes it drives me crazy.
05:55But you know what?
05:56It makes her happy.
05:58Oh, my goodness.
05:59This is what we need right here, Ricardo.
06:02All right.
06:02This is the place to be.
06:04Okay.
06:04Oh, I have to get these two.
06:06No.
06:07You gotta go in the cart.
06:08Okay.
06:09The llama.
06:10This is going perfect with the circus thing.
06:13Why did I tell you that?
06:15And then the giraffe.
06:17How cute is this?
06:20Wow.
06:20You gotta have more.
06:22Whoa.
06:22Pray for pics.
06:24Put that right there.
06:25I never have too many.
06:27Uh-huh.
06:27I don't know what you're gonna do with them, but okay.
06:29In the kitchen.
06:30To me, I don't have enough decorations.
06:35All usable space in the attic is full.
06:38All the space in the one, two, three garages is full.
06:44There's no room for anything.
06:46Some closets.
06:46Huh?
06:47I just wanna support you today, so I'm not gonna cut you too short, but you're getting
06:51close to your budget.
06:53You're getting very close to your budget.
06:55A budget?
06:55I'm sorry.
06:55Since when do we ever have a budget?
06:57Uh, today.
06:58I probably spend about a good $10,000 to $15,000 per year.
07:07Or $20,000.
07:10Don't tell my husband.
07:12Check out this camel.
07:14Okay.
07:15Oh, my God.
07:16We gotta get it.
07:16We gotta put it in the basket.
07:18Purchasing an item that you really, really want is a rush.
07:22It's kinda like a high, in a way.
07:24I know we came here for one thing, but it looked like we bought the whole store.
07:28Oh, we didn't even break the bank!
07:31She's got it bad.
07:32There's no medication that can help her with that.
07:35I got a couple more things I wanna get.
07:37Is that right?
07:38Yeah.
07:38I don't know where we're gonna put it, but okay.
07:48So, I think at the end of the day, we know we are so limited with time right now.
07:53We've got to focus on the kid, family-friendly element.
07:57Yes.
07:58So, my name is Brian.
07:59My name is Chelsea.
08:00We own Santa's Helpers Design, and we are the only Christmas rental company in Las Vegas
08:05that specializes in all Christmas, all year long.
08:09Essentially, if you want large, crazy, over-the-top Christmas installs, I am the guy that you called.
08:17Our Santa's Secret install, obviously, in...
08:19Just a couple weeks.
08:21Yeah, literally in a couple weeks.
08:22And, you know, being that it's always been an adult theme, we've never really focused on...
08:26Right.
08:27...on the aspect of family there.
08:28That is a huge thing.
08:29We have not done that before.
08:31But this year, that is the goal.
08:34So, what interactive moments or things can we do to sort of bring the family in?
08:40The candy land needs to be expanded.
08:42Chelsea and I met 15 years ago through an old best friend of mine.
08:46And we've actually now been best friends and lived together for 15 years.
08:51What is that word when two people are, like, super attached to each other?
08:55Love.
08:56No, definitely not that.
08:57It's, um, codependent.
09:00Oh, yeah.
09:00We're so codependent.
09:01Super codependent of each other.
09:02Yeah.
09:03I know that we've got some things in our personal inventory, because obviously I already did a sweet shop in
09:09the living room.
09:09So, actually, let's go over there and see if there's some key things that are in there that maybe we
09:14even might want to bring with us.
09:16Oh, yeah.
09:17Let's write something down.
09:18Yeah, write it down.
09:20So, I have about 27 storage facilities around the United States, 17 here in Vegas.
09:26In retail value, there's probably close to $10 million in Christmas decor.
09:32I mean, it is a lot.
09:35It's already kid-friendly, but I think we can add our new animatronic guy.
09:40I mean, he's a chef.
09:40Right, he's great.
09:41We've got to bring him for sure.
09:42We might as well take these macaroons out of the tree, and there's five of those guys in there.
09:47Okay.
09:48Christmas is always happening, whether it's physically in the house or we're at our storage units.
09:54I did this year decide that I wanted to decorate the living room, and I said, let's just do it
09:58Candyland.
09:59And not thinking about the fact that we actually wanted, yeah, we have product in here.
10:04All of these things can be used in LA.
10:06But we don't need all of it.
10:08We, no.
10:09But we do.
10:12Here's one spoon.
10:13We need the spoons?
10:13Okay, we need the spoons.
10:14Wait, we got one down there by you, so that's two.
10:16All right, two spoons.
10:17Two spoons.
10:18Wait, no, here's a turquoise one.
10:19That's three.
10:20There's three spoons.
10:21That's three of those.
10:22Oh, and these gold finials.
10:23We need gold finials.
10:24Because even if we don't use these in the sweet shop, these would be really pretty in the angel installation.
10:28And there's two of those, and then there's the two that have the rhinestones on them.
10:33Okay, so that's four.
10:34Is that, oh, that's it?
10:35I think that that's about it.
10:35That's it.
10:35Oh, no, wait.
10:36There's this big package.
10:37Of course there's more.
10:37Okay, big package.
10:37There's one more of the larger package.
10:39All right.
10:40We got it?
10:41I handle the business side of Santa's Helper's Design.
10:44Just making sure that we are making money and growing our business.
10:49And I don't know if reining Brian in is definitely something I would ever succeed in, but I do attempt
10:58to try.
10:59I am just not sure.
11:01I'm really not.
11:01What do you mean you're not sure?
11:02I'm not sure of the space.
11:03I'm not sure of the time.
11:05But we always know at the end of the day that we end up bringing more.
11:08And if we have to pull back, then we have to pull back.
11:10But I would rather have...
11:11Surprise.
11:12Oh, hi.
11:13I'm back.
11:14Hey.
11:14Babe, you're home.
11:15Yeah.
11:16I got let go early.
11:18Very early.
11:19Yeah.
11:20Hi, honey.
11:20My name is Mark.
11:22Chelsea is my wife.
11:23We've been together about five years, and I'm a traveling chef.
11:28It has started.
11:29It's for, you know, LA.
11:32Time to bring more stuff out.
11:33When?
11:36Well, actually, in the next, like, three to five days, probably, is when we have to get
11:41everything, like, really, really finished over there.
11:45I joke, but it is kind of a real thing where I say that Brian is my husband and Mark
11:53is my
11:54boyfriend because my relationship with Brian can be snappy, and we fight, and then we get
12:01over it.
12:01But there's love there where my relationship with Mark is ever-loving and peaceful.
12:12In the next, like, three to five days, we've got to get stuff from the storages, and we've
12:19got to load them up in the truck and get them out there and, like...
12:21But I'm so happy you're home.
12:23Yeah.
12:24It's exciting.
12:26Sometimes I wish Chelsea and I had more of our own space without Brian, without Christmas.
12:34Usually, I feel like the odd man out.
12:38Okay.
12:39Well, no, I mean, I think that's amazing.
12:42I love it.
12:42Yeah, yeah.
12:43I love it.
12:44Maybe you could help us with the storages if we need it, like, with loading.
12:50Yeah, for sure.
12:57I'll give you your whole garage back if we get the tree.
13:01That tree, like, 5,000 bucks?
13:02Yes.
13:05I don't even remember what's in all of these.
13:07The storage fee bill is $9,000 a month.
13:10Here, grab this.
13:12Just be careful.
13:13Don't drive too fast.
13:14Looks like Santa's giving birth.
13:21I'm really excited about this.
13:22Watch your step over there, too.
13:25Yeah, it's pretty neat.
13:25Not that heavy.
13:26It's pretty huge.
13:27It's huge.
13:28How'd you find out about this?
13:30I found it online.
13:31This church here was getting rid of it.
13:32Wow.
13:33What a great find.
13:34And it's nice and big.
13:35We need some more big pieces in it.
13:37Yeah, it takes up some space.
13:38My name's Eric.
13:39I'm 25, and I love Christmas.
13:42My passion for Christmas started when I was a kid.
13:44Every year, going to different houses, seeing the joy on people's faces of, like, how big some of their displays
13:51are.
13:51I always thought, like, hey, one day I can probably do that and put a smile on someone's face.
13:56Three, two, one.
14:03So, I started this display at 11 years old.
14:08He had a real passion for it when he was a little kid.
14:11If we were driving down the road, he would look and see displays, and we'd have to stop and go
14:16down there and look at them.
14:17And that kind of triggered things from there.
14:19I just love how old he is.
14:20I like a lot of the vintage stuff.
14:22My display's different.
14:23You can't really find this stuff anywhere else.
14:25I love blow molds because they're so old, and they don't really weather much.
14:29As you can see, it's cluttered back here.
14:30You kind of got to just dive right in.
14:37Here's one of the choir people.
14:38They are creepy.
14:40Their heads come right off, so it's easier to store.
14:43He could talk about blow molds for four hours.
14:46It's overwhelming.
14:48Stay.
14:49One question everybody asks, where do you store everything?
14:51Well, are displays that we have double as storage?
14:54My rough estimate about how many blow molds I have is probably close to about 1,000.
15:01Oh, jeez.
15:02This guy's another white bear.
15:04He's a rarer one.
15:05So I work in HVAC.
15:07I'm an account of a contractor.
15:08Some of that money does go to the display and collection.
15:12But I try to negotiate with people.
15:13I like buying stuff in bulk.
15:18Oh, .
15:21The decorations to me just mean Christmas, and I just love it.
15:24I think the collection needs to keep growing.
15:26What do you think?
15:27I think we're going to start using your room as storage, and you can sleep in the driveway.
15:31You'll be sleeping with all the blow molds.
15:34I need some land if I end up moving.
15:37I think when we secure it, we've got to wrap it around the legs here, maybe around the head, the
15:42body.
15:43All right.
15:43Grab it.
15:44Yeah, grab it like here.
15:46Yeah.
15:47Now we've got to try and get this.
15:49Okay.
15:50Set it on its feet.
15:51Santa!
15:51Santa!
15:52Santa!
15:55I initially got involved with it because I want to support him.
15:58This is his passion.
15:59And I'll admit it's frustrating at times when he gets a ton of stuff.
16:03I'm coming home, opening the garage door, thinking I can back my truck into here.
16:09But we're loaded up with Christmas displays.
16:12But he's got me roped into this.
16:15Just be careful.
16:16Don't drive too fast.
16:18Don't turn into your mother.
16:19This is not a replaceable.
16:21Watch out for the stop sign.
16:23Stop.
16:23I'm going to stop.
16:24I'm really excited about the Santa.
16:25It's not a race, Dad.
16:27Easy.
16:27Don't worry about me.
16:28You make sure the straps are feeling nice and tight.
16:32He's unique.
16:33Not many people have him, which is what I try to go for.
16:35Something different.
16:36Oh, there was a bump there.
16:38I know.
16:38I know.
16:39Let's rock around.
16:40I can't imagine what the people are thinking right now.
16:42And it brings joy to people and is like, wow, that's huge.
16:45Like, that is cool.
16:46I want one of them.
16:48They're like, look a load of this guy.
16:51We're definitely putting smiles on people's faces.
16:55Hello.
16:55Hello.
16:56You guys got to come outside and see this.
16:58Okay.
16:58We'll be right out.
17:00All right.
17:02We made it.
17:03All in one piece.
17:04Yeah.
17:05What the heck is this?
17:07Don't you like him?
17:08He's awesome.
17:08Looks like Santa's giving birth.
17:11Each year, I want to make the display bigger and better.
17:14Okay.
17:15Hold on.
17:16Okay.
17:16Because a lot of people look forward to it, and I don't want to let them down.
17:22Here we go.
17:22Oh, that's good.
17:23That's good.
17:24I guess we're going big this year.
17:25It's going to be a big year.
17:32Oh, my goodness.
17:32I got this great idea for the theme for the backyard this year for Christmas home decor.
17:38So, what do I have to do?
17:40Ah, you got to give me a couple things in the back.
17:44Uh, what do you want?
17:46I'm going to need a couple nutcrackers and a couple lamps in the back as well.
17:51Okay.
17:52You understand how much work I got to do just to get those out, right?
17:55That's not that much work.
17:56It's a couple of totes.
17:57I guess.
17:59All right.
17:59Let me get this totes so you can get through.
18:01Yeah, I got it.
18:02All right.
18:03I'm going to do this the easy way.
18:05This is a lot.
18:07This is a lot.
18:07We have a three-car garage and not one car in the garage.
18:11Not one.
18:13Oh, I love to decorate.
18:14And then, you know, I just kept on adding more and more to my collection.
18:19And then, I think I got a little out of hand.
18:23A little?
18:24Just a little bit.
18:26You want the one in the back?
18:27That one.
18:27Way in the back.
18:29Okay.
18:29Forget about this.
18:31Oh, I can't wait to put it up.
18:32Honey, stay focused.
18:33Stay focused.
18:34It's a lot.
18:34It's a lot.
18:35It's a lot.
18:35Yes, sir.
18:36It's a word for it.
18:42What is it?
18:43Go ahead.
18:43Express yourself, Ricky D.
18:46Wait.
18:47Oh, my goodness.
18:48I didn't even know I had all this good stuff.
18:50Look at this stuff.
18:51This stuff haven't even been used yet.
18:52Oh, my.
18:53That's a good garland.
18:53Must have got it last year.
18:54Huh.
18:55Got everything you need.
18:56More than enough.
18:57Not enough.
18:58Ah.
18:59You know what I really, really want?
19:01What?
19:01It's the massive tree.
19:02That tree, like, five?
19:03Mm-hmm.
19:04Yes.
19:04The tree.
19:06The tree.
19:07The massive tree.
19:08This is the new tree that I've loved for almost two years.
19:13I mean, it's different.
19:14It's unique.
19:15It'd be a great wow factor.
19:16We don't have any way of space to put it in the garage.
19:18I'll make a deal.
19:20What's the deal?
19:21I'll give you your whole garage back if we get it on the tree.
19:28I'll make a deal.
19:29What's the deal?
19:30I'll give you your whole garage back if we get it on the tree.
19:34You'll do what?
19:35I'll give you the whole garage back.
19:37You can park both of your vehicles in here.
19:39If I can have the whole garage, consider that tree done.
19:44Okay, let's do a little shake on it.
19:46I'll give you a hug.
19:47Oh, okay.
19:47We're going to hug you out.
19:55I get stuck carrying the drum.
19:57You said you wanted to carry the drum.
20:00I almost look at Sarah almost as, like, a sister to me, even though she's my brother's
20:04girlfriend.
20:04We all grew up together.
20:06She helps out with display.
20:07She helps with painting and anything I need help with.
20:10I think that's good, right?
20:12Yeah, I like it.
20:12I like the angle, too.
20:14People walk in, they see it.
20:15That way people can get a picture in front of it.
20:17All right, we'll bring more stuff out.
20:19It takes around three months to put up my display, but I'm always fiddling around with
20:23something, even during the season.
20:25Hopefully there's no animals in here.
20:27These are the big, big stuff.
20:29Municipal race.
20:30I'm always a season ahead, which people don't realize.
20:33So, like, I kind of already have an idea for this year, and then once I get that all
20:37up, I'm ready for next year.
20:38Ooh, I like that, actually.
20:40They look small, though.
20:41I know.
20:42I think, yes, it is an obsession.
20:43I think it's also an addiction, in a way.
20:47It's always on my mind how I can make it bigger, how I can make it better.
20:50Even in the off season, I try to zone out a little bit and be like, hey, Eric, take a
20:55break.
20:56But you have to with this.
20:58You have to be all year round.
21:01I love the Santa, but I think we need more.
21:04Yes.
21:05And then we'll get, maybe we'll make something, get something else.
21:07I want it to pop this year.
21:09I'm thinking huge.
21:11Something unheard of.
21:13A lot going on here.
21:14What do you think of the Santa on the drum?
21:17It looks good.
21:18This, uh, is it, or?
21:20Nah, I think we got one more big thing.
21:21I think we should do a Ferris wheel.
21:23A Ferris wheel?
21:24Yeah.
21:25Operating Ferris wheel.
21:27Yeah.
21:29And what were you thinking of making that out of?
21:33Probably PVC.
21:34Okay.
21:35All right.
21:37Santa is good, but I don't think it's enough.
21:40I knew that was coming.
21:41I totally knew that was coming.
21:42There's always more.
21:43I see the smoke coming out of your ears.
21:45So what's your vision?
21:46We get, like, battery-operated lights.
21:49Make it about, like, 20 feet tall.
21:51Well, he's about...
21:52You don't go small, do you?
21:53No, never.
21:54Why would I?
21:55Okay.
21:56All right.
21:57Put baskets on it.
21:58And we get, like, an electric, some type of motor?
22:00Yeah, probably.
22:01Okay.
22:01We could do that.
22:02The thing is, we gotta make sure for something that big that the motor's powerful enough,
22:07and make sure our measurements are 100% on tack.
22:10You definitely went bigger.
22:12He's always got a challenge.
22:13Always bigger and better.
22:14I don't get an easy sign.
22:15Gotta work hard here.
22:16All right.
22:23Babe, this was such a good surprise.
22:25I can't even believe that you're here.
22:27I know.
22:28Well, I figured, you know, we got done early, so might as well come home and surprise you,
22:33see you.
22:33Missed you.
22:34So today, I'm dragging Mark along with me to our storage units for more pieces for our L.A. installation.
22:41I'm here for a couple days, so maybe we can peel away and get some dinner or something.
22:47That, um, well, that sounds lovely.
22:51That sounds really lovely.
22:52I just, I'm just not sure if we're gonna be able to.
22:57You know, Chelsea is busy with her job, and I'm busy with mine, so I wanted to be able
23:03to spend a little bit of time with her.
23:05I just love her very much, so I want to be where she is in the space that she is
23:10with whatever
23:11she wants to do and whoever she wants to do that with.
23:18Hey, did you grab the key?
23:20Oh, I got the keys.
23:23Thank God you color coordinated them or we would have never figured out how to make this
23:26happen.
23:29My name is Trevor, and I am friends with Brian and Chelsea, and I was initially brought on
23:33just to help with installs last season.
23:36That quickly became traveling around to the storage units and organizing all of those.
23:41Actually, let's open, let's open the other unit.
23:46Yeah, I haven't been in here in a minute.
23:49These are the keys.
23:51Crazy enough, this is probably five pounds of keys.
23:55All right, we've got to find for LA specifically what we want to grab.
23:58Obviously, we've got nutcrackers.
24:00These must be candy canes.
24:02Candy canes, signs, posts, things like that?
24:05Well, Chelsea and I, we really want to build on the sweet shop aspect of things, but between you
24:10and I, she always thinks I'm so over the top with everything.
24:12I kind of think the more is going to be more at the end of the day.
24:16Sure.
24:16I think we just start pulling some pieces and load up.
24:18I think we start pulling some pieces.
24:21Okay.
24:22The amount of Christmas, and not only the mass amount of it, but like the sheer size of these
24:27things is incredible.
24:28Here, grab this.
24:29We still have to grab stuff from the other units too, so remember that.
24:34It's a lot.
24:35I forgot about this robot.
24:38Okay.
24:39Whoo.
24:40I just can't even remember the last time it was just the two of us, you know?
24:45I can't either, but I hear you.
24:49Yeah.
24:50I hear what you're saying.
24:51I will try to find the time, but it's Christmas already.
24:56I'm, it's, it's September.
24:59Wow.
25:03What happened to Candy Land?
25:04These are candy canes.
25:06This is where the scandal happens.
25:08She's here!
25:09Bring it in.
25:10Bring it in.
25:10I'll probably scare the delivery man.
25:12You guys ready to turn it on?
25:13Yeah!
25:14Yeah!
25:15Three, two, one!
25:23I love my nutcrackers.
25:25Oh, what about the penguin?
25:27Yes, for sure the penguin.
25:29The mission today at the storage units is basically, I have several lands that I have
25:33to fill with more product, so I need to just kind of rummage through and just grab things
25:38that I know we can use at the install in LA.
25:41Candy canes.
25:42I want to grab one of the six foot as well.
25:46Oh!
25:47I forgot we had this one.
25:48We can hang this one from the ceiling as well.
25:50Hi.
25:51Hi.
25:51What's up?
25:52We're here to help.
25:54Oh, thank God.
25:55Oh, yeah.
25:56What happened to Candy Land?
25:58This is not just Candy Land.
26:00Some of these things can go in candy.
26:01I mean, these are candy canes.
26:03This is where the scandal happens.
26:05I know we kind of talked about, like, obviously with the sweet shop grabbing things.
26:08Right.
26:08I think inevitably we're going to want to move some stuff around.
26:11Brian's design aesthetic is always more is more.
26:14Grab that one.
26:16There you go.
26:17Do we want to grab the big one too or do you think these are good?
26:19No, these are good.
26:20These are good?
26:21And although I would love to put a cap on things, there's no limit and there's also no stopping.
26:28Yeah.
26:29Okay.
26:30Let's see.
26:31What?
26:31You just keep adding.
26:33Well, look at the size of the truck.
26:35We need to fill it.
26:36We've got, like, 8,000 square feet of space.
26:38I mean, it looks pretty full to me.
26:41Like, maybe we could get out of here.
26:44Well, no.
26:44I mean, do you have something?
26:45I mean, if you guys have something else you want to do, it's fine.
26:47I mean, we can...
26:48We'll finish this up.
26:49I mean, we've got the whole other truck still.
26:51Like, there's definitely more that we need to, like, get in there, I think.
26:58Okay.
26:59Let's do it.
27:06I can't even tell you how much we have.
27:09Too much.
27:09I don't even remember what's in all of these.
27:15Every single storage facility, all the way to the ceiling, and they're all 20-foot-tall
27:19ceilings.
27:20The storage fee bill is pretty high at $9,000 a month.
27:25Is that stressful?
27:28Making sure that in six weeks we are making the amount of money that we need to make is
27:33extremely stressful.
27:35I know that there's a lot of ornaments in here that we can use, but I don't think we
27:39need to grab them right now.
27:41At the end of the day, you know, I'm spending well over $100,000 a year to store and to
27:46maintain things that sit for 46 weeks out of the year in dark facilities that are doing
27:56absolutely nothing.
27:57Should we grab a couple of the light structures?
28:00We're gonna need more chucks.
28:02We're gonna have to stop him.
28:20Oh, my goodness!
28:21She's here!
28:23Hello!
28:23You have it?
28:24Oh, my God!
28:25You have my baby?
28:26This is the tree that I always wanted my whole entire life.
28:29This is amazing!
28:30Do you understand?
28:30Can I get you the sign first?
28:32Bring it in.
28:32Bring it in.
28:32All right.
28:34This is my dream tree.
28:35I have to have that tree because I believe that.
28:38I deserve it, and I've been wanting it for two years, and it's time.
28:43Be careful.
28:43Be careful.
28:44Bring it on down.
28:45Bring it on down.
28:45Can I get your signature?
28:47Sure, sure, sure.
28:48I want to open it and see, you know, before I sign.
28:51Okay.
28:51Is that all right?
28:52Yeah.
28:52All right.
28:53Yeah.
28:57Oh, there it is!
28:58Oh, wow.
28:59What's that?
28:59Okay, help me out.
29:00Okay.
29:01All right.
29:02We made a deal.
29:03If we get the tree, I will give him half of the garage.
29:07I'll give you your whole garage back if we get the tree.
29:11And eventually, I'm gonna get his garage back, so.
29:14I'm happy, so he should be happy.
29:17Are you seeing what I'm seeing?
29:19Yeah, it's a tree.
29:21Can I get you the sign now?
29:23In a minute, in a minute.
29:24Okay.
29:24We gotta make sure everything is all together.
29:26Okay.
29:27You gotta feel the Christmas spirit.
29:29Do you feel it?
29:30I...
29:30Yes, ma'am.
29:33So, if I could just get the signature, I'll be on my way.
29:36Okay, just wait.
29:37Wait, wait, wait, wait.
29:38Stand back, stand back, stand back.
29:40She's a beauty, isn't she?
29:41Yeah.
29:42She's a beaut.
29:43It's fabulous.
29:44Let's take selfies.
29:44Oh, okay.
29:46Don't be shy.
29:49Yes, Merry Christmas, whoop, whoop.
29:51I...
29:52I do have other...
29:53I gotta make some other deliveries.
29:55They'll be okay.
29:56Did you tell Ricardo about buying it?
29:58I did not tell him about buying it.
30:02We'll worry about it.
30:04On the back end.
30:05Let me get you, let me get you.
30:06Don't get in there.
30:08I'll send it to you.
30:10Us two, it's with the tree.
30:13I probably scared the delivery man.
30:16He probably wasn't that excited, but I was excited.
30:20All right, have a great day.
30:23Oh my God, I'm in heaven.
30:33I need to make the display bigger, better, and different this year,
30:36because we have a lot of people that come back, and they look forward to it.
30:39And I always tell them we have a lot of new things planned.
30:42You don't really see Ferris was in a display like this.
30:44And I want to be that display that has it.
30:46Here we go.
30:47Okay, you got that?
30:48No, back right.
30:49Grab the back.
30:50So we have it up.
30:50Wow.
30:51It's so much bigger than I thought it was.
30:53This is awesome.
30:54I can't wait for it to go up.
30:55Gonna be cool.
30:56And see it at night.
30:57He's excited.
30:58I have to bring him down a little bit and get him lined up with the practical part of
31:02what he wants.
31:03I just want to bounce it and see it spin.
31:05Okay.
31:06Because that's going to tell us that everything works.
31:08That'll be the...
31:08That's the hard part.
31:09Okay.
31:10We're in.
31:10Set it down.
31:11You're going to have to lift it up.
31:13Terry, you get on this side.
31:14You got it, Eric.
31:15You need it on your...
31:16You're good.
31:16Okay, let me tap it.
31:18Don't hit me in the head.
31:19Oh, God.
31:20He's almost hitting himself in the head.
31:22All right, guys.
31:23We're the first one.
31:24Relax.
31:24Relax.
31:25Everybody calm down.
31:26Everybody thinks it's going to be okay.
31:27I'm basically his right-hand man, and I'm the builder, so we've probably built about
31:32nine different displays, which are small sheds, the plexiglass, but this is way bigger.
31:38Finally, you guys decided to show up.
31:40All the hard work's basically done.
31:41My buddies help out sometimes when I allow them to.
31:44We'll put it that way.
31:46One, two, three.
31:49Level it.
31:50But we had some big things planned this time, so I needed the extra manpower.
31:55Even though, you know, you got these guys.
31:58These are very fragile, so be careful.
32:00AJ just got gutted.
32:01Usually around this time of year, we like to get together, you know, watch football.
32:05So Eric, he'll say, we're not going to do anything tonight.
32:08We're going to set up for the lights display.
32:10We're going to set up the blue molds.
32:12That's always something.
32:13So if we're not helping out with the display, we're not seeing Eric for that day.
32:16Now we got to move this thing.
32:18All right, well, it ain't that bad.
32:20It ain't that bad.
32:22This is by far the biggest one I've seen every year.
32:25It's just grown and grown.
32:26And every time you even come by here around Christmas time, you can't get parking, which
32:30is crazy.
32:31Oh, yeah.
32:31Look at that thing.
32:32Look at the beauty.
32:33All right, let's get it moving.
32:34Yeah, we got to test it, but we're in good shape.
32:37Do you have power for this?
32:38It's plugged in.
32:38The motor's plugged in?
32:40Yeah, give me a second.
32:41Is it not supposed to be?
32:41I don't know.
32:42Well, it should be moving.
32:43It's not moving.
32:44Yeah.
32:45Hold up.
32:46Unplug it, Jase.
32:46Let me get up there real quick.
32:50Yeah, this got all messed up here.
32:52That's why.
32:53Because you would hear it a little bit, wouldn't it, if it was going?
32:56Yeah.
32:57That's bizarre.
32:58Try plugging in real quick.
32:59Okay.
33:02Yeah.
33:02Nothing.
33:04No.
33:05That's not good.
33:11That's not good.
33:14Try plugging in real quick.
33:15Okay.
33:18Yeah.
33:18Nothing.
33:20The white's hooked up to the right one, and the black?
33:22Yeah, it shouldn't matter.
33:23Okay.
33:23Uh, looks like the wire's stripped.
33:25This one's all messed up.
33:27There's definitely sparks here.
33:28But it's not moving.
33:29No.
33:30Yeah, we got to smoke out.
33:31What's that?
33:31It's probably the motor.
33:32Yeah.
33:33The motor went out.
33:34Obviously, with this stuff, you never know.
33:36Get electrical tape.
33:37Try splicing it.
33:38Maybe it got a little bent.
33:40We had to change a couple wires.
33:42Maybe one of the splices got messed up.
33:44It happens.
33:45You just got to be able to adapt.
33:47All right.
33:48Ready?
33:48We're going to try this.
33:49Hopefully, it works.
33:50Ready?
33:51Three, two, one.
33:54Hey!
33:55Yay!
33:57Woo!
33:58Check that out.
34:00Finally.
34:01All right.
34:02It looks great.
34:03It's way bigger than I thought it was going to be.
34:05Beautiful.
34:06I love it.
34:07It's perfect.
34:07I can't wait for people to see it.
34:15Right here.
34:16Let's shift here.
34:18You know what it might be?
34:20One more right here.
34:22Candace?
34:22Yes!
34:23You have been busy.
34:26Sure have!
34:26Do you see it?
34:28Do you see it?
34:29I see it.
34:30How do you like her?
34:31I don't know.
34:32She's a beauty.
34:33She's absolutely beautiful.
34:35This is the tree?
34:37This is the tree.
34:38This is that tree.
34:41That means that tree cost 5K.
34:44Okay?
34:45And I got more fingers, but I think that's enough.
34:47Wow.
34:49That's nice.
34:50Okay, so...
34:51Don't you love the detail in her?
34:52She's beautiful.
34:54I see that.
34:54What's the saying?
34:55Happy wife?
34:56Happy life.
34:57Yeah.
34:57Come on, somebody.
34:58That's what somebody said, but I think they need to rewrite that script.
35:01Okay.
35:01How did you pull this off?
35:02You know I had my ways.
35:04Huh.
35:04It kind of threw me off there for a minute.
35:06And the fact that we really didn't discuss it.
35:11Were you nervous for him to see the tree?
35:14Uh...
35:15Just a little bit.
35:16And then I was like, oh, he'll be all right.
35:18Look at this.
35:19The orange box.
35:20I see a box.
35:20The pearls, the details on this beauty.
35:24And the star.
35:25Tell me something.
35:26Give me something.
35:27It looks very nice.
35:29It's different.
35:30It's unique.
35:30It's like something you see in an animated movie or something.
35:33So it's really nice.
35:33Yeah, and they go perfect in Sierra's room.
35:36You know?
35:36Wait, wait, wait a minute.
35:37You spent 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and it's not gonna be featured in the main living room?
35:42You know where people can see it?
35:43No, it's gonna be in Sierra's room.
35:45It goes with the collection upstairs.
35:47That's our wow factor.
35:48That's our big bang right there.
35:50Yeah.
35:53Okay.
35:54Seeing the joy on her face, I'm like, I was okay, you know?
35:57She's happy.
35:58It's all about the Christmas spirit.
36:01Yeah.
36:02But I'm thankful.
36:03Yeah.
36:04Well, if you're happy with it, are you happy?
36:06I'm happy.
36:07Okay, but I'm just so happy that I can get my garage back.
36:11Well, you know, okay.
36:12I got my garage back.
36:14Yeah, sure, you got a little bit of it.
36:15We had made an agreement about the garage.
36:17She got the tree.
36:19So, yeah, I got my garage back.
36:25Well.
36:26Hmm.
36:28You got a little bit of it.
36:29That cleared out a little bit.
36:31Yeah, I gave you like a whole walkway.
36:33I might can get a bicycle in here.
36:35Yes.
36:35Uh, you promised me I had the whole garage back.
36:39You got your tree.
36:40But he had an agreement, okay, a binding agreement.
36:43Correct?
36:44Okay, so I...
36:45I don't think we shook on it, but okay.
36:46No, you know what we did?
36:48Oh, we did.
36:48We hugged on it.
36:49Oh, we did.
36:49You said you would.
36:50See, that's a binding contract right there.
36:53Okay.
36:53You know, to compromise.
36:55How to, you know, compromise and be able to...
36:59That's not what she does.
37:01What do I do?
37:02Well, yeah, you just said you promised to give me part of the garage.
37:06It's coming.
37:07It's coming.
37:10You got work to do.
37:12We'll get there.
37:19We haven't had a dinner moment in a while, huh?
37:22I know.
37:23Who are we meeting?
37:24Well, we have that proposal that we've been working on,
37:26so I figured that we would take the opportunity and just meet them here.
37:30All right.
37:31Whew.
37:32Hi, babe.
37:33Oh.
37:34Hi.
37:35What is this?
37:36Surprise.
37:37Oh, hi.
37:38This is a surprise.
37:40Mark and I set up a dinner for you guys.
37:43What kind of sweet is that?
37:44Mark.
37:45Mark and I had a conversation when Chelsea did not know and said,
37:49hey, let's do a little dinner for the two of you guys.
37:52I take up so much of her time in everything that we do,
37:55and we are together all the time.
37:58Mark is not here often, and while we did not know he was coming back into town,
38:03they need their time, their husband and wife.
38:06Well, you know, Brian wanted to help me out.
38:09I know he knows, like, you guys are busy, and it was last-minute surprise that I came into town,
38:15so just wanted to help do something nice for us.
38:19And honestly, like, we're together all the time, and I know you guys don't get to spend a lot of
38:24time together,
38:24so this is something that you needed.
38:26Like, you need that together moment, so I'm happy for you guys.
38:30Well, thank you.
38:31Yeah.
38:31I appreciate it.
38:32I think the door's that way, though.
38:35No, you're right, you're right, you're right.
38:36You guys enjoy, have fun, do your thing, be home in two hours, we have more work to do.
38:43Love you guys.
38:44Bye.
38:45Love you.
38:45Bye.
38:47Look how pretty those flowers are.
38:50I know.
38:51I thought it's romantic and Christmassy at the same time.
38:54You nailed it.
38:57Brian and Chelsea, they're best friends, they work together, they live together,
39:02but I love Chelsea so much, and it's nice to just have me and Chelsea for our time together,
39:08because that is what matters to me.
39:11Is this a Paloma?
39:13Yeah, your favorite drink thing.
39:14Aw, you guys are the best.
39:16Cheers.
39:16You're the best.
39:17Cheers to us.
39:20Mark, if you could collect anything, what would it be?
39:24Hmm.
39:26I'm really into looking for seashells.
39:30He does have a lot of seashells.
39:31I do.
39:32Yeah.
39:45You guys ready to turn it on?
39:47Yeah!
39:49First, first of all, let me thank everybody here.
39:51Thank you guys all for coming out.
39:53Appreciate it.
39:53It means a lot.
39:54Ready?
39:55Five, four, three, two, one.
40:00Woo!
40:01Yeah!
40:03Oh, yeah.
40:04Check it out.
40:05Woo!
40:08Oh, I think they liked it.
40:11Just a guess, which makes me happy.
40:13But it was more the fact that I wanted everybody else to enjoy it.
40:15It's all about them.
40:17You like the gingerbreads?
40:18Yeah.
40:18Yeah?
40:19Which one's your favorite?
40:20I was so delighted with how many people came out, and just to see how excited they were
40:25about everything.
40:26That's really why we do this.
40:27Just the way it creates memories and the looks on kids' faces is well worth all the work.
40:34I was very happy.
40:35I always got to try and outdo myself.
40:37Each year it gets harder and harder, and I always find a way somehow.
40:41My cousin's actually a pilot, so he said the one time he actually saw it.
40:45I was like, well, it's good.
40:46Got to see it from space, though, man.
40:48I don't think it's there yet.
41:04Hey, you sound good.
41:06Hey, you sound good.
41:07Hey, you sound good.
41:08Hey, you sound good.
41:08You sound good.
41:12Look at that.
41:13I got my garage back.
41:15I know.
41:15How you feel?
41:16You feel great?
41:17Woo!
41:18I do take over the whole entire house, so I just realized, you know what, Ricky D,
41:23he deserves a little bit of space.
41:25Oh, you made me cry.
41:27Oh, my goodness.
41:28We're moving.
41:28We're moving and shaking.
41:30Woo!
41:32You made me feel so good.
41:34I got more space.
41:35Thank you for that.
41:36Well, I'm glad you feel great.
41:37All right.
41:41I got my garage back.
41:46And it feels good.
41:48So good.
41:48Yeah, all right.
41:50Girl, it feels real good.
41:51All right.
41:52Come on now.
41:53Wait a minute.
41:54It's a half a garage.
41:57But I'll take it.
41:59Take it.
41:59You'll get the whole garage back eventually.
42:04Okay.
42:05But be happy with the half.
42:07I thought we have a 50-50 love.
42:10There you go.
42:11Half.
42:15Got my half, darling.
42:17Oh, half of a garage.
42:21Candace has always supported me with my music.
42:23And I think I've always supported her desires.
42:26And I found out the more that I support her, the more it helps the relationship.
42:32It's just a good feeling, just to have that support and that love.
42:36It's good.
42:37And he doesn't think that I'm crazy.
42:49Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
42:51I got my half off my garage.
43:01Woo!
43:03How you doing, baby?
