00:00Hi, I'm Alkira Riley. I'm 30 years old and I'm a dairy farmer just at Alene Gatha in South Gippsland,
00:06milking 350 cows.
00:09I'm a share farmer, been here for two years and I'm still loving it.
00:12I've always worked on the farm since I was young and always loved it.
00:17I wanted to go do my own thing though, went off to uni for a year and then ended up
00:20in the agent job and did that for six years.
00:23And then I decided I was probably mature enough kind of and wanted to come back home and give it
00:30a crack.
00:30I love that every day is different. I love that some days just it's the best job in the world
00:36and then other days it can be an absolute headache.
00:38But I kind of love that. I love being busy. I love always doing something different.
00:43I love problem solving, which you have to be really good at for this job.
00:46And I love seeing the cows and I love seeing happy, healthy cows and seeing the growth, I guess, in
00:52the herd and my animals.
00:53And I love being busy.
00:55And I love seeing something .
00:55So we were used to say problems, that she lives are hard to take care of everything this time.
00:56Let me know about it .
00:56And if your eyes will be imm suspended.
00:57I love seeing those old ones to have changed for seven years.
00:57You
