00:00So Blakeman's currently in the burbs north of New York City right now doing a big mailer,
00:04blaming both you and Mayor Zorhan Mamdani for, quote, sky-high taxes, rising utility bills, and out-of-control crime.
00:11So I just wanted to get your reaction to that.
00:13Interesting. It's not based in fact, given the fact that crime is down,
00:20shootings and murders down about 60% in New York City as well as the rest of states since I've
00:25been governor.
00:26Here on Long Island, there's been some spikes here in Nassau, but overall crime is down.
00:31And so I'm not sure what the crime argument is all about other than I will continue to be vigilant.
00:37And high costs of living, I do know that one of the effects was the high cost of gasoline.
00:44That was driven by the Republican administration in Washington declaring a war on Iran,
00:49which strangled the Straits of Hormuz and kept oil from flowing here, skyrocketing the prices.
00:56Inflation, which the president promised would go down on day one, has only escalated.
01:01And the tariffs, again, inflicted by the Republican administration, have driven up the costs of everything.
01:07So, given that Bruce Blakeman has said he's 100% mega, will never disagree with the president,
01:14I think you can just look at all those drivers of expenses and look at him and say,
01:18are you serious? Are you seriously making this argument?
01:21Because you and the administration you support are the cause of this.
