00:01Hello and welcome, welcome to Emma Geek You Content. Welcome to downloadable content without restrictions.
00:08What I'm using is MS Paint Shop on creating buttons and for my website on creating templates.
00:15Just in case you're interested in MS Paint Shop. If you go to downloads, you can go to downloads or
00:20you can do on desktop.
00:21It's entirely to you. I like to give you the content from scratch.
00:23When I click, you're going to go here, make a new big map. What we'll make it, we'll make it
00:29a toggle button.
00:31That's what we'll make it. I'll show you some buttons in a moment so you can understand exactly how to
00:35do it.
00:36If possible, we want to start with absolutely nothing so you understand how to do it.
00:41When I click, we'll go edit. You open MS Paint Shop, just like this.
00:46Something in green. Okay, this is how you open the MS Paint Shop.
00:50I want to drag it over a bit just so I can fit it all in the screen to about
00:55there somewhere.
00:58Now, how big is the background? Well, first of all, you want to work out the width of the button.
01:03The background where the button is going to go.
01:07Okay, so let's go here. The background for my particular button.
01:11When you go here, the width is 120. Right? And the height is about 26.
01:20Which is about average for a button. I call it a toggle button. That's what I call it.
01:26Close it and save it. Here's your standard template.
01:29Now, what you would do, I'm going to click on it if you want to. And you can go here
01:35and you can zip it.
01:36Zip it and it looks like that. Now, of course, your one will look like that. Your one will look
01:41like this.
01:42It will look like that. Because you're using Windows. Or maybe you're using Mac. I don't know.
01:49As I said, I'm using a program called WinRAR. Which is free. It works the same. To get the image
01:55back out of there.
01:57Two clicks. Opens it. You hold it and you drag it out. And replace it. See ya.
02:02This is your template. Right? Now, what we want to do. We want to click on this. We want to
02:08copy it. And we can paste it.
02:11Now, click on it again. And open it. Now, leave the first one white. You can have it black or
02:16white.
02:17Most websites, it's actually white. So, you can just leave white. Go here. And go here. You can turn the
02:23button to wherever you want.
02:25And go here. Now, how big do you want to have the actual button so we can toggle it on
02:31and off?
02:33Well, that one is 40. So, we're going to do 40. And the height of it is approximately about 20.
02:41Because don't forget, our border is 26. So, I think, okay. Let's do 20. Okay. So, as you can see,
02:48it's a little bit smaller. Right?
02:50I hope we can save that and we can save yeah. Now, this one is a toggle button. That's what
02:57this is. So, I'm going to do width. It's 40. And the height is 20. Right? So, this button too.
03:05This is the background. So, I'm just going to put BG on that. Okay?
03:11If you want to know what the width is for the background. I will type it on here for you.
03:16The width is 120. And the height is 26. Just so you understand that.
03:23Now, if you go here, it doesn't look like much, right? It doesn't look like nothing, honestly. If you go
03:27here and you zoom in.
03:29Zoom all the way in as far as you can go. Now, what you want to do here. Grab yourself
03:33a circle. Go here and just stretch it. Okay?
03:38Now, if you look down here on my screen. If you can't see this, you can go here. And you
03:42can turn this on and turn it off. That shows you that. Okay? Drag it right to the top.
03:48Just look at it. It shows 17 by 17. Okay? So, that's the height of it. Right? Pull it out
03:55if you want to. So, it's 17 by 16. You can do 17 by 17. 16 by 16. Doesn't matter.
04:02Just make sure it's the same.
04:03Just right click. Okay? You can leave it like that if you want to. Click off it. And leave it
04:08like that. Go back to here. Press this. Now, what I'm going to do is go back into here and
04:12select the whole thing.
04:14Copy it. And paste it. And move it to the opposite side.
04:20Now, why would you have a pair of eyeballs on the screen?

05:30Just get rid of it.
05:36Okay. Just get rid of that. That way, if you've got a background, that's white, that will blend into it.
05:43Of course, if your background is black, then of course, you want to paint it back black.

05:51Okay. So now we can click on that.
05:53And we can paste it.
05:56And we can go back onto it. And we can edit the actual dot.
05:59Go back to here.
06:01Zoom back in.
06:02Pick a new colour.
06:03This one is going to be red.
06:07There you go.
06:08So there is red.
06:10Okay. So we've got red.
06:13And we've got green.
06:17Now, why would you want to do that?
06:20This is why you'd want to do that.

06:23Again, you'll want two of these.
06:25Because this would be your template.

06:39Now, first of all, you want to pick whatever colour you want.
