00:00Yeah, well, that's great. It doesn't do any good when it's taken down.
00:03Making me take the flag down.
00:05The city of Boston complained.
00:08Terrible, terrible.
00:10Put that Somali flag up in two seconds.
00:13I mean, how crazy is this? Let me set up what you just saw.
00:16So the gentleman in that video is Robert Burke.
00:19He's running for Congress in Massachusetts.
00:21And he decided that it was appropriate to put up an American flag in City Hall in Boston.
00:26That's City Hall right there.
00:27But he wanted to do it in Boston this week.
00:29America's 250th birthday after the mayor of Boston, Michelle Wu,
00:33celebrated Somali Independence Day and raised the Somali flag over City Hall.
00:38And officials, you just saw, they forced him to take it down.
00:40And when you look right across the street, there's a Somali flag.
00:43There it is, flapping in the wind in Boston.
00:46Here's the mayor, Michelle Wu, celebrating Somali Independence Day.
00:51Somalia's Independence Day serves as a powerful symbol of freedom, unity,
00:55and then the enduring fight for justice and dignity for all communities.
01:00Now, therefore, I, Michelle Wu, mayor of the city of Boston,
01:03do hereby proclaim Friday, June 26, 2026,
01:07to be Somali flag raising day in the city of Boston.
01:10Okay, I'll just say the people that are from Somalia that are here are here for a reason
01:14because Somalia is a third world disaster.
01:17That's not my opinion.
01:18That's a fact.
01:19They don't...
01:21Yeah, we gotta talk about it.
01:24My goodness, guys.
01:26First off, make sure you all are safe today.
01:29I've seen some pretty horrific videos and images of people blowing off hands and all types of stuff.
01:38All right?
01:39We can celebrate America without...
01:45Being foolish, okay?
01:47All right?
01:48Man, I don't want to hear any stories of one of y'all blowing off your hand
01:53because you did something silly, okay?
01:55Man, I've seen some...
01:58I can vividly remember there was a guy who was obviously intoxicated
02:02and just held on to the firework, just held it right after lighting it, just held it.
02:08And, you know, you know what happened after that?
02:11Man, he's just sitting there just...
02:15After it exploded, just looking at his hand.
02:17Yeah.
02:21Anyway, be safe, all right?
02:23Be safe, of course.
02:25Now, what you just saw there is not only exclusive to Boston.
02:30It is happening in some other cities as well.
02:33And I have a problem with it.
02:35This is America.
02:36It should be illegal to raise another country's flag on American soil.
02:40This is my humble opinion, but let's get into it.
02:44Well, I'm not just celebrating, but honoring and remembering and ushering in the future.
02:48Some citizens are furious that Democrat leaders are celebrating another country's Independence Day.
02:54Cities, including Boston, Buffalo, Minneapolis, are flying the Somali flag.
02:58This is Outnumbered.
03:00I'm Harris Faulkner, here with my co-hosts, Emily Campagno and Kayleigh McEnany.
03:05Also joining us today, Kennedy, host of the Kennedy Saves the World podcast.
03:09And Dakota Meyer is here, Medal of Honor recipient and our friend.
03:14Well, we've been tracking a number of Democrat-led cities that have appeared to put America's 250th birthday on the
03:20back burner.
03:21Buffalo held a celebration for Somali Independence Day, flying the country's flag at City Hall.
03:26That country's flag.
03:28And just a day after canceling its 4th of July fireworks show, the city said it ran into logistical issues.
03:35In Boston, Democrat Mayor Michelle Wu also celebrated Somalia weeks after she proposed cutting nearly $1 million from veteran services.
03:45That is so unpatriotic.
03:48Wu eventually restored the funding after a fierce backlash.
03:52Yeah, they gave her some oxygen.
03:54She woke up.
03:54In Columbus, Ohio, the Parks Department is backtracking after a now-deleted social media post that promised a similar celebration.
04:03A firestorm erupting on social media.
04:05Critics are going after the city's decision to celebrate a foreign country so close to our Independence Day.
04:11With one pointing out City Hall.
04:13Yeah, this is just absolutely crazy.
04:16Absolutely crazy.
04:17These Democrats have seriously gone off the deep end.
04:20They'll raise a Somalian flag, but they won't celebrate America.
04:25The very country that they live in.
04:28Okay?
04:29It's just another story of if you needed another reason to show up in the midterms, here you go.
04:36Because America will turn into a third world country.
04:40This is just ridiculous.
04:41Now I want to talk about what happened in Buffalo, New York.
04:47Because that story was quite interesting.
04:50Quite interesting.
04:51Let's get into it.
04:52Developing tonight, we're taking a live look at Buffalo City Hall as police investigate an online threat to blow up
04:59the iconic building.
05:00They're also looking into the harassment of several city lawmakers following the raising of the Somali flag in Niagara Square
05:06this week.
05:07Well, the flag raising ceremony took place on Wednesday, which is when the city of Buffalo released a statement explaining
05:13why there would be no fireworks show in the city to mark the country's 250th anniversary this weekend.
05:19Well, since then, someone vandalized the poll and stole the Somali flag.
05:23And now the city of Buffalo leaders are facing increased scrutiny over the lack of holiday plans this Fourth of
05:30July weekend.
05:31You only turn 250 years old once.
05:33So this is a major milestone in the history of our nation.
05:36Just days before our nation's 250th anniversary, City of Buffalo Mayor Sean Ryan releasing a statement saying that the Queen
05:43City will not be hosting a July 4th fireworks show.
05:47The administration cited an appropriate site could not be identified that would provide a safe and widely accessible viewing experience
05:54for residents.
05:56Erie County Republican Committee Chairman Michael Crocker says he feels Mayor Sean Ryan's administration not making this a priority is
06:03unacceptable.
06:03They say they had logistical challenges.
06:05I think everybody at home knows that if the mayor wanted to make the fireworks happen, he would have made
06:11it happen.
06:11The city's announcement came on the same day the city hosted an annual flag raising ceremony on Wednesday, July 1st,
06:18commemorating Independence Day for the country of Somalia.
06:21This is something the Queen City does frequently for organizations in various communities throughout the year.
06:26The flag raising has come under fire from lawmakers, including Western New York Republican Congressman Nick Langworthy, saying, quote,
06:33Buffalo's leaders claim they couldn't find a site to celebrate America's 250th birthday with fireworks.
06:39Yet they somehow had no trouble finding the time and space to raise a Somali flag.
06:44That wasn't a logistical challenge.
06:46It was a choice.
06:47Crocker says he fully understands recognizing other communities, citing America is a country built by immigrants,
06:53though he says commemorating another country's independence is not what this week is about.
06:58Buffalo is a gem.
06:59There is so much history in this city as it relates to the story that is America,
07:04and we've done nothing to celebrate that out of the city of Buffalo and Mayor Sean Ryan's City Hall.
07:11Now the city has no fireworks show, and someone has illegally taken down the Somali flag that was raised in
07:17front of City Hall.
07:18Do you think the vandalism was justified yesterday?
07:20No.
07:21No, I don't think it is, and I don't think it ever should be.
07:24I don't think it was appropriate to have that event when you haven't properly recognized the United States of America.
07:30Shane Keyes, president of Our City Action Buffalo, says these two things should not be in the same conversation.
07:36You know, it's really apples to oranges with a fireworks display and a flag being raised in terms of logistics
07:42and the technical needs of those two different things.
07:47Keys added that OCAB condemns the Somali flag being taken down,
07:52calling it a form of hate speech and says this is not a good representation of the city of good
07:57neighbors.
07:57They are family members, they are our colleagues, they are students,
08:01and they contribute to and beautify and enrich our community in ways that are truly immeasurable.
08:17I'm just laughing because they enrich our community in just ways that are immeasurable.
08:24In what ways?
08:26Explain it to me.
08:27It's immeasurable.
08:31A.K.A. they don't enrich it at all.
08:38That's why I was laughing because I was like, bro, you're not slick, brother.
08:45You're not slick.
08:51Oh, man.
08:52That was hilarious.
08:54That was absolutely hilarious.
08:55But, so, yeah, you have cities across America, Democrat-run cities,
09:01that prioritize celebrating Somalia rather than celebrating America.
09:10250th birthday, you don't think that's a priority.
09:12You had plenty of time to plan this whole thing.
09:17Well, the logistics, you had plenty of time to plan this whole thing.
09:24It's not like this just popped up today.
09:27Like, everyone's known about this for a long time now, right?
09:32So, the excuses fall on deaf ears, in my humble opinion.
09:36I ain't hearing none of that.
09:37None of it.
09:38None of it whatsoever.
09:40Okay?
09:40These people are doing that intentionally.
09:44Democrats hate America.
09:46And the polls actually back it up.
09:49I played a Harry Inton poll for you all probably about a month ago at this point.
09:54It's been a while.
09:55And it showed most Democrats are not proud to be Americans.
10:01Whereas, basically, all Republicans are proud to be Americans.
10:04It's completely flipped.
10:06But, so, yeah, if you're not proud to be an American, if you be an American, and if you
10:10hate America so much, then go live in Somalia if you want to celebrate Somalia.
10:15Oh, I forgot.
10:17Somalians are trying to come here.
10:19Which, I just, that pisses me off, you know?
10:23Like, you have these people coming here to America because their country isn't in great
10:28shape, but you still want to celebrate your country even though you're here in America?
10:33America, if your country is so great, then go back to it then.
10:37You know?
10:38That's the way that I see it.
10:39And, of course, people are going to say, oh, well, you're just racist and blah, blah, blah.
10:43You're the black face of white supremacy.
10:46It's just like, bro, shut up.
10:49That's a bunch of nonsense.
10:50What I'm saying is completely logical, right?
10:54If people, if individuals from other countries love their country that much, then why are they
11:00here in this country?
11:03If their countries are really that great, if they're really that proud of their own
11:08countries, then why are they here?
11:10Why aren't they back in their own countries?
11:12There's nothing wrong with me saying that.
11:14Absolutely nothing wrong with me saying that.
11:16That ain't racist, okay?
11:18Even though, you know, Democrats would call me racist all over the place for saying something
11:23like that.
11:24That's not racist, okay?
11:25I didn't say nobody is allowed to be here.
11:28I'm saying if you're going to fly another country's flag, then go live in that country.
11:33If you're not proud to be an American, then leave.
11:36It's that simple, all right?
11:38But as always, I'll get in the comments.
11:39Let me know your thoughts and your opinions.
11:41Stay safe out there.
11:42Peace and love.
11:43I'm out.
11:43I'm out.
