00:00Well, the audition process was an open call, so anyone could apply to it, and they had two scenes that
00:07they released, and then a slate, which is like your name, your height, where you're based, and then 30 seconds,
00:13why you would make a good Elle Woods, and I was like, well, I don't want to, like, do a
00:18video of me saying I have blonde hair and I have a dog, like, I was like, it needs to
00:22be more than that, because everyone's going to do that, and then I kind of had this
00:29epiphany that I had to recreate her Harvard admissions video, so I, like, bought the pink bikini and everything, and
00:34I, like, wrote the whole script, and I put it together, and I knew, like, I was doing the most,
00:42and I was being very extra, but I kind of just, like, knew that it was the thing to do.
00:48I trusted my gut, and I really think that there's been very few times in life where we, when we
00:56trust our gut, that it leads us the wrong way, you know, and I think we all, like, have a,
01:01an instinct of, like, oh, this is, this is what I need to do, and so I'm very glad I
01:05listened to it, because now I get to be here, talking to you.
01:10Yeah, we saw the video of Wizz with us, uh, telling you that you got the part of Airwoods, but
01:17what was the first thing you did after leaving the room?
01:21Oh, I probably, like, jumped up and down, was, like, screaming a bit, I probably looked really crazy, and then
01:28I put on Hoku's Perfect Day in my AirPods, and I was, like, walking down the street, I was, like,
01:34I got the part, nobody knows I got it, but I did.
01:40It was so crazy, and still is, honestly. There's some days I'm, like, I, it's not like you forget, but,
01:48like, you just, it doesn't hit you 24-7, but then something will happen, and you'll be, like, oh, my
01:54God, wait, I get to be Elle Woods, this is very cool.
