00:00Mas dadali ang proseso, ito ang paniniwala ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. kung direct ang sasagutin ni Vice President
00:07Sara Duterte sa impeachment court ang mga allegasyon laban sa kanya.
00:10Yan ang ulat ni Kenneth Pasiente.
00:15Bilang isang dating Senator Judge noong impeachment trial ni dating Supreme Court Chief Justice Renato Corona,
00:21naniniwala si Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. na dapat humarap ang isang akusado sa trial.
00:26Tugon niya ng Pangulo isang araw bago ang impeachment trial ni Vice President Sara Duterte.
00:31It would be much easier to get to the bottom of everything if you can speak to the accused directly.
00:40And the accused can answer directly, not through secondary channels, not through the lawyers.

01:19hindi paa niya tapos ang laban.
01:21Dahil mas marami aanyang nalalantad na anumalyas sa ginagawang investigasyon ng mga otoridad,
01:25lalo't ayon sa Pangulo, nangyari pa ito sa mga taon bago ang kanyang termino.

01:36then we can see that the pattern extends beyond 2022, back beyond 2022,
01:44and back to about that time, 2017-2018.
01:49At the time, President Duterte acknowledged that there were great problems
01:56in terms of the flood control projects, pero wala namang nangyari.
02:03Having acknowledged it, he did not find accountability in anybody.
02:08So I guess that was left up to me to do.
02:12And so we are still doing it. We are still working on it.
02:14As I said, the more we look, the more we investigate, the more we find.

03:43Tapos sasabihin, ako daw ang may kagagawan.

03:53Kailangang pag-aralan mabuti ayon sa Pangulo ang pagpapababa ng age of criminal liability
03:58kasunod ng mga karahasan na kinasasangkutan ng mga menor de edad.
04:02Yung mga surveys na ginagawa about the mental health of children,
04:07kailangang pag-aralan ng mabuti yan.
04:08Because if we are lowing the age of responsibility for such crimes,
04:14then it would imply that children have changed from before.
04:25So whereas if they are under 18, under 16,
04:31nagbago ba ang pag-iisip ng mga bata?
04:34Kailangan din anyang mas mabantayan ng mga social media,
04:38pati na ang mararahas na online games dahil sa negatibong epekto nito sa mga kabataan.
04:42When it is clear that a certain game or a class of games
04:48are responsible for the desensitization of our children to violence,
04:57then yes, I think we should ban them and we will ban them.
05:02Tinawag namang unhelpful ng Pangulo ang naging hakbang ng China
05:06nang patawan nito ng persona non-grata si Defense Secretary Gilberto Teodoro Jr.
05:11Geet niya, walang mararating ang naturang hakbang ng China,
05:15lalo na sa usapin ng territorial dispute.
05:17Mas lalo lamang din anya nitong itinaasang tensyon.

05:46But in the largest scheme of things, in my view, it raises the level of tension rather than lessens it.

06:16Punto niya, isa itong napakahalagang usapin para sa bansa
06:20dahil nakasalalay rito ang pagtatanggol sa territorial integrity
06:23at paggamit ng Pilipinas sa mga karapatan sa teritoryo nito.
06:27I think the rightness in our positioning, in terms of the way we position the Philippines
06:33in our foreign policy vis-a-vis the arbitral agreement, arbitral award,
06:43is validated by countries like Canada who support it.
06:48and see it as simply an enforcement of international law
06:55and the defense of our territorial integrity
06:59and the exercise of our sovereign rights within our sovereign territories.
