01:31Nikola Solov ahead due to the fact
01:34he has won more feature races than Gabriele Mini.
01:38This is Grand Prix Sunday, though,
01:4029 laps around Silverstone.
01:42We have a compulsory pit stop for all drivers
01:45needing to use both the hard and the soft tire.
01:48Two DRS zones around the circuit.
01:51It was a wet feature race here last year.
01:53Dry conditions now this year.
01:55And the grid is getting set and ready to go.

01:59Alongside me, Alex Brundle.
02:01And, Alex, looks like we have a car missing from the grid.
02:04It does.
02:05And that car is Martinius Stenchorn,
02:07who should have been parking up
02:09in 17th position on the grid.
02:12We've seen on the footage
02:15that he has stopped around turn nine
02:18and hasn't actually made it to his grid box.
02:21You can see personnel on the grid there going,
02:25surely there should be a car here.
02:26He is, but we'll show you where he is.
02:28He's stopped down at Copse,
02:31and it looks to be a relatively serious technical issue
02:34then for Martinius Stenchorn,
02:35and that one is not going to be taking the start of the race.
02:38Real shame for Martinius Stenchorn.
02:40It was a real difficult race for him yesterday.
02:43He found himself in a couple of instants
02:45down through Vail and Club,
02:47and unfortunately, he will be watching for the sidelines.
02:51Lots of people around the grandstands, Alex.
02:54They'll be excited for this one.
02:55And it's Rafa Camara who will lead us away from Paul.

03:02on the softest of the two tyres available
03:04for them this weekend.
03:05That is the soft tyre.
03:07It's a compound jump in Formula 2.
03:08They've got the hard available as well.
03:11There's a mandatory stop in this race.
03:13They must switch from one to the other
03:15and use both.
03:17But before all of that,
03:18let's find out how they line up, Chris.
03:20This is how they qualified on Friday then,
03:22your full starting grid.
03:25Kian Shields, 19th in the sprint yesterday.
03:27He'll be alongside his teammate,
03:29Emerson Fintipaldi,
03:30the only driver coming into this weekend
03:31who hadn't raced Silverstone.
03:33And Laurence van Hoepen has seemingly struggled
03:36in qualifying since Canada.
03:38He's alongside Nico Verone.
03:40John Bennett, home race for him.
03:42Didn't complete a lap yesterday.
03:43He'll be hoping for a better one today.
03:45He'll now be on his own on row nine.
03:48Then we have Noel Leon.
03:49A great qualifying last week.
03:51Not so good this week.
03:52He's on row eight with Colton Hurt.
03:53Could be one to watch on a different strategy perhaps.
03:56Sebastian Montoya and Oli Gertha, row seven.
03:59Two drivers on the podium
04:00in the sprint and feature race last weekend.
04:03Then Mary Boyer is on row six.
04:05One in Formula 3 here in the feature race last year.

04:35Belinsky 16th in the championship.
04:37No feature race wins for Cushmine.
04:40And then fellow Alpine junior Alex Dunn on the front row.
04:43No wins for him this season.
04:44His last coming at Imola in the feature race last season.
04:49And then Rafa Camara, our Barcelona feature race winner,
04:52starts on pole position.
04:53He sits 32 points back from Solov and Mini.
04:56And we are all set and ready for the formation of that, Max.
04:59Third pole of the year for Rafa Camara.
05:01He's got a great opportunity here to try to bridge that gap
05:04to the tied pair at the top of the championship.
05:06That's what's going to be first and foremost in his mind.
05:09It's an extremely long run down to the first realistic braking zone,
05:14which is Village.
05:14They tend to be able to just back out of the throttle slightly in Abbey
05:18on that first lap of the race.
05:20Chris, I'm seeing a huge differential in the strategies chosen.
05:24Some starting on that softer compound tyre,
05:27others starting on the hard.
05:29So we're going to see a very big split
05:31between the way this race is run down the field.
05:33Yeah, 12 drivers went for the alternative strategy in 2024.
05:38We'll talk more about tyres in just a second.
05:40First, let's hear what our pole sitter, Rafa Camara,
05:43had to say after he took pole on Friday.
05:50Yeah, it was nice to get four positions.
05:52For sure makes life a bit easier,
05:55but definitely not completely the job done.
05:57So we keep focus, head down, working for tomorrow,
06:02see what we can maximise
06:03and obviously trying to prepare in the best way for Sunday.
06:09Rafa Camara starting on pole for the third time this season
06:12has been incredibly consistent in qualifying Alex.
06:16He and Alex Dunn, third and fourth in the championship,
06:1932 and 36 points back.
06:20This is a real great opportunity for them
06:23to close in on Soloman Minute.
06:25Yeah, and anything can happen here.
06:27It's a relatively high yellow flag rate at Silverstone.
06:29Extremely challenging circuit for drivers at this level
06:33and in this type of car as well.
06:35Less downforce here than drivers have in Formula 1.
06:38So these sweeps through Maggots, Becketts
06:40and indeed Copps become all the more challenging.
06:43You've got Camara, Dunn, Maini, Belinsky, Solov,
06:46Intrapovizac, Miata, Viganovic, Montoya, Herter,
06:49Verone, Van Hoopen and Fittipaldi on the option tyre.
06:53That's the softer one.
06:54And everybody else is starting on the hard compound.
06:57It'll become clear in the middle of the race
06:59when they split some move to the pit lane.
07:02We're expecting them in between lap six and lap 10
07:05on that soft compound tyre.
07:07And those starting on the hard will then move through
07:10towards the lead of the standings.
07:11But of course, Ogunwater pit stop later.
07:13Yeah, and they should be expected in
07:15if we look back on 2024 between laps 21 to 23.
07:20So once we get to 20 laps,
07:21we could start seeing them come into pit lane.
07:25But 29 lap feature.
07:27Grand Prix style points available, Alex.
07:29This is going to be a big challenge for the drivers
07:32in terms of tyre management.
07:33It really is.
07:34Airtemp 18 at the moment, track temp 29.
07:37It's much cooler than it's been for the rest of the weekend
07:39for these Formula 2 drivers.
07:40And we saw, even in the sprint race,
07:43difficulty in getting the tyre up to temperature.
07:46That's going to be a problem.
07:47Looking through the field there,
07:49it looks like Dirksen might be our leading driver
07:51who's not starting on the option.
07:53But everyone doing big burnouts then
07:56onto the start-finish straight
07:58to try and get the tyre ready
07:59for what is a potential for error
08:02in the first couple of corners,
08:03but an opportunity as well.
08:05This brings us to the halfway point of the season.
08:07At the end of lap six,
08:09we will see the pit lane open.
08:11And after the first lap is completed,
08:13we will see the two DRS zones.
08:15The first will become activated on lap two
08:18down the Wellington Strait.
08:20It looks like the 21 drivers on the grid are set
08:23and are ready to go.
08:25All we need now is that green flag at the back
08:27and the race to Abbey will begin here at Silverstone.

08:37And we are go for the feature race here
08:40at Silverstone for round seven.
08:41A brilliant launch of the second row for Cushmine.
08:44And he's gone straight through to the lead of the race.
08:46It was a poor start from Rappacamera
08:48and he's in danger of going down to P5.
08:51He's fighting away with Roman Belinsky
08:53in that blue dams who's looking down
08:56the inside of Camara.
08:57He's now trying to go around the outside of Dunn
08:59who forces him off onto the exit of the corner
09:03and four wheels over the white line.
09:05That looked to me, but he's in third place.
09:07And now Alex Dunn in fourth place.
09:09Leading the way is Cushmine
09:12as we head down the Wellington Strait.
09:14And it's a rocket start again from Solov
09:16who's pursuing Maini on the way down there.
09:18Camara under a little bit of pressure.
09:20Intrepuvizac has managed to hold station
09:22at the back end of that top ten.
09:24But as they make their way through
09:25the hard compound runners battling
09:27to keep position here,
09:29that is Rotoma Miata
09:30trying to make his way round.
09:32Dunn thinks Camara needs to give the place
09:34back there on that opening lap.
09:36It was a radio message I was expecting.
09:38Dunn will be hoping to get that one back.
09:39Meanwhile, that's Tosadopo Intrepuvizac
09:41in that black ART going by.

09:47as we head in towards Maggots and Beckets.

10:08who's under pressure
10:08as they make their way down to Stowe
10:10having made that move
10:11but is unable to pass Bilinski.

10:18from Solov who's come up from P5 to P2.
