00:04This book is called Beyond the Interview,
00:06Building Your Data Career.
00:07Now, this is the very first copy,
00:10so it has not for sale on it.
00:11This book is a project I've been working on
00:13kind of just in secret for the past year,
00:15because I didn't know how long it was gonna take,
00:17so I didn't make any announcements.
00:19So I'm super excited that it is finally here,
00:21and you can actually go and you can buy this right now.

00:26Now, this book is not just another one of those
00:28how to get your first data job,
00:30what skills do you need to learn,
00:32or how to learn SQL or how to learn Python.
00:35There are so many other books like that.
00:37I wanted to write something that I felt was different,
00:39but also super useful to anybody at any level
00:42who is reading it.
00:43This book is gonna be helpful
00:44whether you are just an entry-level analyst,
00:47all the way up to a senior or a manager level,
00:49because it walks through a lot of the difficult things
00:51that really just don't get talked about a lot
00:53within the data world.
00:54I'm gonna share the full table of contents with you
00:56so you can just see it on your screen,
00:58but it covers a ton of different things,
01:00like handling imposter syndrome,
01:01how to work with stakeholders, managers, and your team,
01:04how to present data to basically non-data people,
01:07and then things like getting a raise, promotion,
01:09or a different job and when to make those decisions.
01:11And there's a ton of other things
01:13that I cover in the book.
01:14These are all things that I just kind of figured out on my own.
01:17I never really had someone helping me figure out
01:19how to do these things or how to negotiate salary
01:22or decide when to actually move on to another job.
01:25And so this book is basically everything laid out on paper
01:28that I kind of have experienced over the past many years
01:31being in the data industry.
01:32I share a lot of stories
01:34and a lot of kind of behind the scenes things
01:36that I had to deal with
01:37when I was first starting out as an analyst.
01:39And then of course, working my way up
01:41to being a manager of data analytics,
01:42and then starting my own data consulting company.
01:45I know I share a lot on my YouTube channel,
01:47but there's even more in this book,
01:49and I think it is really useful to anybody who reads it.
