The government will not be pressured by protests either at home or overseas, Malacañang says on July 3, 2026 (July 4 in Manila). Speaking to reporters in Vancouver, Palace Press Officer Claire Castro said the administration respected the right to peaceful assembly but cautioned against actions that could misrepresent the country or undermine its image without factual basis.
