A Birmingham company owner has been convicted of manslaughter after a worker was crushed while unloading glass in Erdington. Investigators said serious safety failings meant the death could have been prevented.

00:10Nashwan Amin was found guilty of manslaughter and of perverting the course of justice following the death of 27-year
00:17-old Eko Azizpaw in Erdington during February of last year.
00:22His brother, Razwan Amin, had already admitted to perverting the course of justice.
00:27A joint investigation by West Midlands Police and the Health and Safety Executive found the business lacked suitable unloading equipment,
00:36safety procedures and staff training.
00:38Both men are due to be sentenced during September, with Nashwan Amin remanded in custody.
