00:00A derelict former care home could be turned into 27 flats after warnings were made over
00:06the declining state of the building. New proposals have been drawn up for the redevelopment of the
00:11Grade 2 listed Moor Field House in Moor Town in North Leeds. The 49-bed home on Field House Walk
00:18has stood empty for around seven years after it closed following a Care Quality Commission
00:24inspection. Plans for 14 flats were approved by Leeds City Council later that year but the scheme
00:31was eventually deemed financially unviable. A design report said the building had been
00:36targeted by vandals and would continue to deteriorate unless urgently repaired or transformed.
