00:00DAP Secretary-General Lok Siu-fok has filed a lawsuit against lawyer and columnist Ang Weishang

00:07over three Facebook videos he claims are defamatory.

00:11In the suit, the Seremban MP claimed the videos, published between February and May this year,

00:18improperly linked him to a pig farming controversy and an alleged corporate mafia.

00:24Lok, the transport minister, says the videos falsely portray him as having misled the Chinese

00:29community and shielding the alleged corporate mafia.

00:33He also alleges that the videos were published maliciously, leading to negative comments and

00:38criticism online.

00:40In his statement of claim, Lok said the allegations were untrue, without factual basis and had harmed

00:46his reputation.

00:47He is seeking damages and a public apology from Ang.

00:51The High Court has scheduled the suit for case management on July 13th.
