During Hungry Ghost Month, a careless college student named James ignores the warnings, mocks the offerings, and kicks aside food left for wandering spirits.

After disrespecting a Hungry Ghost, James is followed back to his boarding house by a terrifying spirit in white and green robes. As the night grows darker, the ghost becomes hungrier — knocking at his door, appearing in mirrors, crawling from beneath his bed, and finally turning James into the meal he mocked.
