00:22was an acceptable answer guys i do think there's truth to what he's saying but at the same time
00:27as i've said before for some of this stuff nobody's trying to hear that right now yeah so i understand
00:33what steve is saying especially in the sense of like this was not just one thing and how we got
00:38here obviously it's a combination of players coming in you know especially in walk years players
00:43handling new york in the market for the first time the pressure that comes from media including people
00:47that we were just referencing in our great you know john hayman and joel sherman um but i think
00:52if there was anything that steve stated that i personally did not love to hear at least from a
00:57fan point of view was more so in the well how the hell did we get here because in my
01:02opinion for
01:03a team of this status in this market with this payroll that should never be a question especially
01:10at this point in the season you should know full well how we got here based on the construction of
01:16the
01:16club and where the shortcomings most certainly were had with players and their lack of availability
01:20when it comes to health among many other things so i see what steve is saying and i know that
01:27he
01:27means this genuinely but from a fan point of view i think it's also fair to say well that should
01:33not
01:33even be in question like we should know like how we got here you know there were signs heading into
01:38the year that could lead cause for concern if say you know x y and z does not work out
01:43and everything
01:43has not worked out for the new york mets in the first half of the season
