00:22:38So my inspiration for the challenge this week is Ghidorah, which is a three headed space hydra.
00:22:43This is actually a decorative wall mount that I busted a hole through.
00:22:46It got a little damage on the way over here, but we're just kind of pivoting and turning it into
00:22:49battle damage.
00:22:50So I'm going in with an adhesive caulk to just fill in some of the gaps here.
00:22:54And then just like filling it in with like this Suspiria red paint to really create that brightness that you
00:22:58would see in like Godzilla films of the 60s and 70s.
00:23:04My inspiration for this week is deep space cosmic horror.
00:23:08I want it to look super like biological, like I've been infected by this alien intelligence, like a parasite or
00:23:13something.
00:23:14So I've created this texture out of cobwebs and latex.
00:23:17For the base of this garment, I've created it out of this material that they use for screen doors.
00:23:22It sort of spirals a little bit as it hangs.
00:23:25It creates this really voluminous, high amount of movement in the garment.
00:23:29I want them to move with my body and to compliment the performance.
00:23:38I've taken inspiration from the Orphanim and the Seraphim and I sort of combine them together into this angel eater.
00:23:45I'm using a lot of chains in my look to build this story that this is a creature that can't
00:23:50be held back.
00:23:51That's the truly horrific thing about cosmic horror is that you're powerless to this higher entity.
00:23:57I'm going to use some of this chain to obscure the wiring to make it look less like hokey, I
00:24:04hope.
00:24:08Beep bop, beep bop.

00:24:13My inspiration this week is The Thing.
00:24:16So I really wanted to showcase the special effects in this one.
00:24:20I'm just trying to get the morphing of the humanoid into the alien.
00:24:26Very slimy and gross and just bleh.
00:24:30I will be adding two pairs of lashes to this look.
00:24:33It will never be enough.
00:24:39My inspiration this week is sex work from the future.
00:24:42So I was going to use this aluminum foil to kind of like bring an element of trash slash filth
00:24:46to this look.
00:24:47Because it's kind of clean for my taste.
